I dunno if our challenges will change. In the challenges part you can set the time of day and the weather which might shake it up a bit.

But the way it is now, it's handy and open, and we get our times saved on the leaderboards. People can come and go without been invited.

We'll see how it goes.

I was but then I realised I'm A Celeb was about to start. 2 safe challenges to clock watch and hopefully that's the plat.

I've tried to do folks challenges if there wasnt already a time there. Just dawdled around.

I thought someone said you had to manually pick the Bentley. When I accepted challenge it took me right there and only car was the Bentley.

I just send a few challenges to my US account but can't do them as the cars are locked! Only level 1.

Keep an eye on the expired challenges section. 2 of my 5 have had the leaderboards wiped for some reason. 2 did work with a 3rd due to expire with a participant in a few minutes. Not expecting the plat to ping on that, so I've thrown out some more to do just in case.

Edit: Nevermind the 5 challenges and plat just pinged!

It's a shame the challenge trophies were so easy to get. None of us really tried for them and we all pretty much got all the trophies within an hour of trying. Although I wouldn't want the trophies to do challenging they're hard to obtain, I do feel these trophies were no challenge at all.

I've got a load of challenges from randoms. Don't seem to get the game alerts for them, they just appear in the expired list or the received. Did a club challenge (again from a random), the leaderboards stopped working for the other club one they'd sent. There's community challenges for that too, and when you click on the leaderboard it shows who from the club has set the best time.

Getting millions of game alerts from you lot though in the last few minutes though!

I sent out two more as I'm at 4 out of 5 challenges won. Hopefully one will stick. The servers are playing up tho.

I'm trying to get through as many challenges sent to me as possible. Am I correct in thinking that Lisa and omtt have that plat already.

Oh wow. Sadly I won't get back on my Ps4 again until tomorrow.

What's the standings on the DS challenge? Last I looked Lisa had already beaten my time and placed first in the world() but none else had yet had a bash at it.

Also, is there any further word on when the weather patch is dropping. They still on course for that this month?

Online lobbies are still crap! Got into one with Ian & Lisa, Ian dropped out syncing. I then got into 2 races with Lisa, our team won because everyone bar one on the opposite team dropped out & on the second race, I got rammed off the road & stuck at the back. I don't mind some light bumps but they just went straight for me like it was a destruction derby! Then after the second race, I lost connection 😡

Lol I know right? Even people supposed to be on the same team go ram raiding! Did have a good battle on the 2nd race swapping places around the track with a non crashy team member. My tactic was to basically avoid OMTT as much as feasibly possible and if I took out any other idiots instead then so be it, given the way most of them behave! I think we all got booted out after that 2nd race.

I don't think I've managed more than 2 races in a row online without getting kicked which is a shame as they've been mostly fair and competitive.

Now the platinum is out the way, I'll be concentrating more on the challenges amongst us & online races

I sent out a few challenges earlier ( which some of you did, thanks), but none of them caused the contender trophy to pop. I then sent another one out at 22:15, and it popped contender at 22:45 ( thanks Yuffie) I'm guessing this means you have to be actively playing for the trophies to pop? ( it doesn't check when you next log on?)

Also, times look as if they only count towards the challenge if you set them via the challenge. If your look at our current one from Yuffie, Lisa is top, but on the main leaderboard for the event, Yuffie is quicker.
