I sent out a few challenges earlier ( which some of you did, thanks), but none of them caused the contender trophy to pop. I then sent another one out at 22:15, and it popped contender at 22:45 ( thanks Yuffie) I'm guessing this means you have to be actively playing for the trophies to pop? ( it doesn't check when you next log on?)
Also, times look as if they only count towards the challenge if you set them via the challenge. If your look at our current one from Yuffie, Lisa is top, but on the main leaderboard for the event, Yuffie is quicker. I only made the challenge to see how it worked. The challenges don't link with the time trials. |

I wouldn't read too much into that challenge. I set the challenge and I think Lisa beat me in it, so it shows her top. But in the time trials section I set the fastest time after that.

This came with my PS4 this week but I've been snowed under so haven't given it a go yet... guessing it must be good to have wracked up over 70 pages here, though

I done our challenge through the challenge invite sent out. Looks like my score is on the event leaderboard anyway so doesn't look like it matters how you go into it. Its Just easier as the challenge takes you right there with right car.
Not sure I have hammer or subcute ? Are they from DS ? I'll need to check |

If you set a time via the challenge it goes on the main leaderboard too, but if you go via drive/time trial/event it doesn't show up in the challenge. It just means when checking results we'll need to use the main leaderboard in case there's someone not on the challenge. (Either that or all agree to use the challenge - assuming they keep working) |

subcute is subcutaneousphat, mmpfb from on here - I just couldn't be bothered typing all of subcutaneousphat earlier. (Pretty sure I'd have spelled subcutaneousphat incorrectly too).

Only just got to playing this after having since launch. Too many games at once
![]() Have to ask the regulars. Do all the cars have massive oversteer? I just seem to be fighting the cars at every turn. I admit to being an aggressive driver and it did take me a while to get to grips with the physics in Forza 5 before I was any good. |

I tried our time trial challenge in the challenges section but it only shows the ghost for the person in first place, not the person infront of you

Interesting. I'll try it the normal way. Maybe lisa's ghost is pushing me too much and making me crash.

...but the most fun comes from our Digital Spy challenges. We set ourselves a challenge that lasts 3 days, usually a time trial on a specific track using a specific car.

Sounds good, how do I get in on that?
current challenge is: Scotland - Loch Dulch - Bentley Continental GT Speed It finishes tomorrow night. All you need to do is set a time in that car via the time trial. Just make sure we're all on your friend's list so that you can see all the times and know how you're doing. (Probably best to post your PSN ID here and if you're not on anyone's list already they can add you). |

The challenges aren't necessarily restricted to time trials. There's also races and drift events. Also I suggest you get cracking on the tour, join a club (We have 5 Digital Spy clubs) and get levelling up as some cars are only accessible when you / your club has hit a certain level. So you don't want to be left out of a challenge because you don't have the car unlocked. |

Is there any way to stop challenge requests from randoms?

Definitely worth doing even just a handful of community challenges each day. Still get a good haul of points even if you place in the hundreds, if you click on the challenge>leaderboard it shows how many you'll currently get. I had 219,000 points come through this afternoon from yesterday's batch of community challenges I did.
Club challenges aren't working or at least they weren't a couple of hours ago, kept getting that CE-[numbers] error whenever I tried. |
