I'm like gillyallan in that I don't like the ghosts not showing - it's nice to have the immediate target in front of you. However, we'll have to go the challenges route eventually because of the weather, so I guess it makes sense to move over sooner rather than later.

Ok we're all using it so a level playing field but that cross country down the back straight shouldn't be allowed. I actually feel like a lawn mower going across it. Its like an out of map glitch in a fps.

Challenge route is fine with me ( after this challenge!) though I'd prefer it if the ghost in front of you showed. Lisa makes a very good point as well about we may get to the stage where we've already got a time set before our challenge starts.

Not sure about 9pm though - I'm usually on later than that, if it finishes at 9, how am I meant to beat Yuffie's time in the dying minutes ???

I knew it.

I knew that's what you were doing, but I thought I'd look crazy if I said it.

9 o clock start / finish it is !!!!!!!!

How do we tweet, t-wat or twit evolution? Like omtt days if enough folk ask for the ghosts they might listen.
What do I type into twitter ?
I have it just don't really know how to use it.

Edit. Ok not 100% I've done it right but I wrote....

@DRIVECLUB #challenges. Can we have the ghost cars of next target friend and our own best time, same as time trial. It's only showing no.1

Lol. I swear I haven't been doing it on purpose, it just seemed to work out that way.

But I'm out tonight, so if you can beat my current time you'll have me beat. ( for once )

I was on until midnight last night and the last I saw he was in second place. I've sent The official Driveclub Twitter a tweet too asking about ghosts

When I went on last night I realised I'd lost a couple of places. I spent ages chasing you and getting nowhere and then I managed to post a good time, putting me in second place. (about 30 mins after I said 'just one more' lol )

Either way. We'll use the time trial leaderboards for the current challenge.

Nobody seems to have a problem with using Challenges so unless anyone else gives us a good reason not to, will we start using it from tonight ??

Ps. Someone posted on ps forums that the 3 ghosts appeared for them last night so maybe just a little blip. Good if so.

So loving this game and that's without doing the tour. I mainly use the time I have to do our challenges. Game offers so much and only getting better.

Don't know about the rest of you but I've had some spectacular crashes at our cross country section when it goes a bit wrong.

I'm at my limit on this one, I reckon I could spend a week on it and not improve, so I went back to the tour for a bit ( only about 2/3rds through it). I have to say, I think the time spent on our challenges has improved my 'driving', I seem to be making better decisions at corners now.

And yes, I've also had some spectacular wipeouts at that bit. One felt like I was about 15 ft in the air. And who decided it would be a good idea to put a telegraph pole there ??? The number of times I hit it was ridiculous.

29.994, 27.954 and then I stack it on the last corner when I've regularly been setting 30.3s/30.4s. I've pretty much stripped all the paintwork off the car with all the spectacular cock ups!

The weather update for the game is sill on track for release before the years is out. Hopefully we'll get a date from the PSX event over the weekend.

Managed a 1:28:982 thanks to a 27.6 middle sector. So close yet so far again, I'm determined to get this done!

Well done Lisa. I won't be back on to beat it.

And you're choosing the next challenge. Do you know what you're picking ?

I'd be too ashamed to take it back in that state!

Yeah I've already got it planned.
