Jeez decided to try the club version and beat Lisa on it. With a 28:390. Why can't I manage that on the solo. ..grrrr

Anyone know when the first season pass DLC is being released? If nothing takes my fancy in the PSN sales before then, I'll just use my store credit on the pass

Is driveclub more an online racer or offline game?

Bit of both blade. There's a whole tour to do. You could do that alone. However it also puts into this small sort of mini challenges based on real players. Ie fastest through sections. Best driving line. Best drift. You can ignore them or try for them. Entirely up to you.
Then there's the online. The is actual multiplayer racing. There are challenges. ..like we all are doing. Ie. We take turns of picking a car and track
Send out the challenge and we all try for the best time.
Its a bit of an all rounder in my opinion.

Make sure you grab all the free DLC fr the store too. There's a few cars and 2 whole new tours to complete

I concede defeat on Bandipur with the Cooper Works. I can't do it. Can't get out of the 32s. Some mental block. May get on before it closes tomorrow but can't see an improvement. At least I got the Mastery trophy out of it.

Has the DC app been released yet?

2 questions if anyone fancies answering them

1st corner: are ye just smacking off the wall or are ye properly taking the turn?

The left corner after the first sector: can this be taken flat out? I'm thinking it can but I can't seem to manage it.

As you pass start stop. You have 2 lefts...flat out then a right. ..not flat out. Nothing to be gained by smacking anything anywhere on this track as far as I know.

The left after 1st sector if it's the one I'm thinking about I've never managed flat out. Just got to be clean.

For me the key is first and last corner on this track.

Ok I'm 6th now. Half a second behind OMTT and them him, Gillyallen, Eson and StormBringer are all within four tenths of a second of each other and then Lisa is another four tenths ahead of them. So I need to find a second to come in second place. It's a tough one.

I've no ghosts so I can't really tell where I'm gaining and losing time on the track. If I had them it might be a bit easier. They might work later.

The ghosts haven't worked for me on this challenge except for maybe the first couple of hours. The only time I get a ghost is when I start my second lap but even then it's only mine. I'm not trying anymore on this one, downloaded Game of Thrones so I'll try that later

Oh ya, my ghost is there but that's no good if I want to see where you guys are beating me.

I hope they sort the ghosts out. Having the next person in front of you is a massive motivation to do better. Having Lisa bugger off into the distance not so much

I can understand in a way why the next person isn't showing as it's all about beating the leader. Wonder if that is what the friends challenges will sort for us. That doesn't seem to work at the moment. I keep sending tweets to them but they never answer.

Wide and flick is the way with these corners. The left at the start of the 2nd sector I've not been able to take flat out. I go wide, lift off and then flick the car into the corner. If you do it right you'll catch a bit of the dirt on the apex and then be able to bomb it flat out to that right hander, where it's another lift off and flick.

Be careful what community challenges you do. Noticed that I'd lost my Venom Hot Lap time to a slower time in a Venom Hot Lap community challenge. Asked them about it on twitter, but no reply as of yet. I don't mind faster times/scores wiping over the Tour ones, but slower times/scores is not on.

The leaderboards are gone buckass. I did another few laps. On the first one I was way ahead of my ghost and passing the line I seen I was 4 seconds faster than my previous best, which I thought was a bit weird considering I had two corner penalties on that lap. I didn't get a look at the actual lap time tho and the leaderboards didn't shoot me to no one so I quickly became aware something was up. Then on my next laps as I passed the first sector time at 30 seconds, I was 30 seconds behind my previous best time. This was the next indication that something was up. So I quit. I might try later.

Reading twitter. Server updates were happening half hour or so ago.

Had to concede on current challenge. Must have done 8-10 laps of chasing my ghost almost bumper to bumper not finding the inch I needed. That's when it bothered to turn up.
Looking forward to a new one.

That was 46 laps I done of that track lol.
