I think I'm at my limit. Managed to beat my time but was only fractions of a sec and didn't alter my position. Who's up next ?

Claymore is next ...... Which means we're at the end of our current rota.
If you want to be able to choose an event for the next wave of challenges then quote this and say MEEE !!! or something so I know you're interested. I'll do up the next rota before Tuesday. I would just take the names from a results page but sometimes people don't get around to doing them or maybe the interest in this is fading. |

Quick question I sold my PS4 a while back but wanted this game.
How is the game and is it worth buying the console again for? |

Quite hard to answer as I Like the game so obviously enthusiastic about it. Im not sure how it compares to likes of forza if you have that already. I've probably not played a better racing game. However many folk don't like that it doesn't have tuning for cars. I personally prefer it not to as know everyone has the same car.
I do find it difficult as noted by me still to complete the tour as the ai are a pretty mean bunch. My favourite thing are the challenges and in particular on here with the ds crew and hoping it continues. I don't really see a similar excitement on the xbox forums over forza but maybe they've all moved on. A lot of money for one game though is all I'd say. |

However I found with Need for Speed the graphics were better on the PS4 so just wondered if Drive club is impressive aswell? |

Yeah pretty good gfx especially the weather. Probably best youtube some videos.
Would I spend 349 to play it? No. Would I buy it if I owned a ps4 already? A must buy for me. |

Maybe thinking about The Last of Us aswell I must admit i prefer my XB1 games however the controller is better for PS4 and like I say graphically it has a slight edge. I miss it more than I do when I sold my Xbox 360 prob as it was a last gen and looked rubbish now

What I hate in gran t is that you start a race and cant win it. Well I can't. So you buy all the parts you can. Do the same race and you dominate it.
With this and probably forza, you're challenge is set. Do it with these cars. Some of the times for me are right on my limit so have to have a perfect lap to get it. |

Me next. Currently half cut ( Christmas Day out) but will try to set new challenge later.
Is this game worth buying console for? No, but I don't think any single game is worth buying any console for. Is it a good game? Yes, absolutely. But doing the challenges with the folks in here make it awesome ( As I said, currently half cut!!,) If you have a ps4 and like driving games, buy this. If you have a ps4 and want to try a driving game, buy this. NFS rivals graphics were good, DC graphics are better imo. If you don't have a this gen console and like driving games, do some research and pick the one that best suits you. Sholly hit I have no idea how I'm going to do any sort of lap later. |

Nope. You hated the ps4 and everything about it. Let's not go down that road again. Stick with your X1.

Right, I'm awful at racing games. I downloaded the Forza Horizon 2 demo on the X1, and kept crashing in the prologue (right at the beginning when you're driving with the barrier on one side, and the rock face on the other), and kept having to rewind.
I've seen videos of Drive Club, and it looks gorgeous. Is it "easier" to handle than FH2 ? |

If you want to compare Driveclub to anything, I'd say the Project Gotham Racing series on Xbox 360.

![]() Sheer determination in the end to not be beaten by a couple of hundredths. Beat it first with another finest of margins thanks to a stonker of a 17.597 last sector after 2 dud sectors and then thought stuff it, I'm never going to start a lap on this challenge this fast again so go round again and hope not to stack it. I'm up for making another challenge at some point. Not sure what though. |
