Well I'm signed back in at long last, but none of the online in DC is working. It's not blocking me from any missions in Unity though so at least that's progress I guess.

Up and running for me, changed my mtu setting to 1473 from 1500, saw in twitter which seemed to get people online and had worked for me. Hard challenge Gillyallan!

Best tip I can give with faster cars is try and feather the throttle when braking and accelerating which should give you more control and less spin. Also try and brake and accelerate in a straight line where possible to increase control and keep wheel spin and sliding to a minimum.
Hope that helps! Merry Christmas to all my new PSN friends, you've all made Driveclub a great experience for me since release! Let's keep it going into the next year! Ian PSN: iann34 |

Its a track I think requires a lot of concentration and feathering of brakes and throttle. Even the start where you go airborne throws me into the barrier sometimes

I wanted something you couldn't just hammer on the accelerator. This circuit is like a rally drive and you feel like you have to drive it and pay attention.

Yeah. I usually try to keep one eye on the minimap to see what's coming up, but in the section along the hillside that's just not possible.
Still loving this game. In the downtime I've managed to get every star up to the end of the pro trophy, bar coming first in it. Only the legend section to go. I'm sure that'll be a walk in the park, not! |

I've created another DS Club.
Club name: Digital Spy 6 It's invite only so those that want in will have to send a request to join and I will accept them. |

I finally bit the bullet and got this game. I will try and get on later and hopefully grab a spot in Digital Spy 6 and I will probably join in the challenges once I can work out the braking points as annoyingly the game seems to give no clues on the braking points.

That's the beauty of the time trial challenges. Ghosts can't ram your rear end.

That's what the green, yellow and red flags are for by the corners. Although it's only a rough guide as it depends on weather and what car, etc as not all yellow corners require braking and not all red corners require throwing out the anchors full on.

Thanks it looks like I have a bit of trial and error plus learning the course but I do miss having distance to corner marker boards I'm used to.
Good to have someone else on board for the challenges too. You should add everyone that does them so you don't get left out. Mine is Little_Ifrit |

A question for people in the know. If I go ahead and buy the PS Plus version, does that mean I have the full game? Or do I have to buy the disk too?
