I have a EE signal box. I get a full voice connection when using it.However i cannot get any 3G data service using it. The box flashes when on a voice call. But just wont connect when using data. Iam on Sky broadband. I have reset both the router and the box itself. But it still wont work. Can anyone think of anything else i should try ?

If calls are working then the router can't be blocking it.
Have you tried resetting it (stick a pin in the hole at the back and wait till the light flashes)?

Have tried resetting it., have changed ports on the router. When I try and connect using 3G the data bars on my phone flashes but refuses to connect. It just cones up with the message data time out. The signsl box just stays a solid green. I have spoken to EE CS who say as long as I can make calls the box is not faulty.

Why would you want to use data through a femtocell box anyway?

A very good point and one I've banged on about many a time before.
Since the data comes off your allowance it would be a bit silly to use 3G if WiFi is available.
The primary purpose of a femto is voice and text.
However, in certain circumstances it can be handy to be able to connect to the 3G especially since the signal is way more robust and goes further than WiFi.
My WiFi is a bit dodgy at the end of my house and I have been known to turn on tethering on my iPhone and connect my iPad to it when the iPad suddenly decides the WiFi isn't there anymore.
Bizarrely tethering does actually work via a femto. I didn't think it would.
