Now that Andy Murray has won SPOTY is it time to let him present next years SCD
As was muted by various people on here over the last few years with Bruce about to retire is time to get Andy Murray on board for next years show as Bruce's replacement
I know last year there was a lot of speculation that him and Natalie Robb would be the next hosts of SCD. Whilst he is the UK's number one star should SCD act quick now..

He should stick to the day job...good tennis player, but that doesn't make him ideal presenter material.
And the "lot of speculation last year" was from only you. |

Good heavens.
There will be a DS petition to bring back Bruce. |

Yes. Yes it is. Now take your tablets and settle down before I have to call Nurse again, there's a good boy.

I remember you from Series 9- tried to convince us in the rumour thread Murray had turned it down "in favour of a hosting gig".
Poor guy is a very gifted tennis player but has the personality of a cheese grater. He'd make Bruce seem a desirable alternative. |

Nah. You need an actual personality for SCD.
Bruce and Tess are just fine. |

I thought Martina Navratilova made a very good Tess substitute
That would be rather ironic. I didn't watch, it was a foregone conclusion Murray would win. |

I'd rather Judy Murray present it than Andy.....she's a hoot and she's mad about Artem.

Don't get me wrong I love Bruce and hope he stays but if he has to go then I think Tess should go too as they come as a pair (you don't get anything in this game for a pair......LOL)
I think it would be nice to see 2 of the UK's brightest stars in Andy and Natalie taking over I know it was muted a few years back but think now with Andy's new found success this may be the time to ask him again |

Andy Murray?/
At least you have a better sense of humour than FForsyth. To be a competent presenter, of any show, you need charisma and personality at the very least. You need to look at the camera, not the walls, the floor, anywhere else, all of the time. You have to speak clearly and distinctly. It seems to me that Murray misses out on all points. At least FForsyth still shows flashes of his old personality and charisma and at least he knows how to work an audience and a studio. Bring in someone like Murray, with less charisma than a wall of drying paint and I, for one, will start a 'Bring back FForsyth' petition straight away. |

Mooted? Sorry it drives me crazy!I could have the wrong spelling too but yours makes me imagine Andy Murray whispering to all the contestants.
I think it is a very impolite thing to do. |
