Let's hope she gets grilled at her dinner table on using Amy's concealer. If she doesn't admit her fault then take a couple of points off.

I would watch, definitely. Especially the possum's anus.

It'll be interesting to see where else she pops up. .

There was a long article about Rebecca in the Daily Mail recently which did say that she was trying to get into the celebrity/TV circuit.

It WILL be interesting to see if she manages it in the longer term - but she is trying very hard while her "fame" is fresh!

Yeah, but it will be okay for Rebecca to do the celeb circuit. But had that been Amy.....

It seemed sort of sad that was the only thing Rebecca could think of to do! Perhaps, if she wants some quick money after her years of effort, it is! Doubt she will last long though!

It's not the only thing she can think of to do. She is working as a coach/ mentor for young UK swimmers.

Being a coach to young swimmers is what she's best at. She'll become a modern Duncan Goodhew (google him if you're to young to remember him)

Why retire at anything when your in your early 20s? I know it was because she was beaten by a sixteen yer old, but come on isn't sports about competing and not just winning?

Whilst I find her attractive, she hasn't the confidence or personality to become a presenter or media celebrity. She could release a sex tape, that seems to work these days

Apart from rhythmic gymnastics, swimming has the youngest age profile of any olympic sport - the average age of swimmers in the 2012 olympics was only 22.4 (compare the average age in equestrian events of 38). One swimmer was only 13. Veterans events may start at age 25. So although Rebecca hasn't said she has finished with competitive swimming, she is (startlingly imo) at the upper edge of the age range.

If she does any such thing I will eat my keyboard. I can't see why she shouldn't get some swimming commentating work: she is a clear and articulate speaker, and would have a good level of inside knowledge.

I presume you mean what you 'think' she's best at? She certainly has the swimming experience, but who knows if she'd make a good coach?

Most athletes retire once they've achieved their ultimate goal. As a world record holder, and multiple gold medal winner I think it's safe to say she's achieved her goals.

Lol meow. No-one in the sporting circuit enters just to compete. Too much dedicated training involved, but you probably know this....I hope

In some circumstances, but I think you are now just being rude to Rebecca.

Well, good luck with that now that her reputation is in tatters from IAC.

I was at school 30 years ago, I haven't grown up yet. Nor will I retract my statement.

How desperate is this? Find me a press story, from anywhere at all, suggesting that her reputation has been damaged. Challenge for you.

Exactly.
Rebecca is a good un...end of
A young lady with a good spirit who will enjoy life to the full no doubt.

Triton333, I feel you are just misguided by that remark.
Maybe as you have been swayed by reading silly posts that diss her on forums.
Unless you know something I do not know of course

Hardly.

As Gary Lineker on SPOTY 2013 on Sunday said when Ben Cohen (Rugby Union legend & 2013 SCD contestant) & Rebecca Adlington came up to give out an award to Rebecca: "Are you giving Amy Willerton a dictionary for Christmas?"

The only person who came across badly was the deluded Amy, and all her supporters who are clearly lacking a basic grasp of the English Language as to the definition of the meaning/definition of the word "used".

Still I guess all Amy's fans were too busy watching the result of fiX Factor, to watch inspirational achievers on at the same time on the BBC.
