I like Susanna and want her to win - there, I've said it!

I'm getting fed up with all the negative threads (not just about Susanna - but there are a lot if those on page one it seems!) so hought I would redress the balance a bit! Some of the threads are really not very nice - particularly about Susanna and Natalie.

I love Kevin and Susanna's enthusiasm and energy and can relate more to her than the other contestants.

I don't dislike any of the other contestants as it happens and will be pleased for whoever wins. I'd like to see a spectacular final - with all the contestants dancing their best and some truly great show dances (please no bacofoil!!)

I will be voting for Susanna because she's my favourite but won't be bitter if she doesn't win! There - I've said it!

Me as well.

I will be voting for her to win but I actually like them all to a lesser & greater degree so won't be too upset whatever the result.

Not decided yet which one I would go too if Susanna is out first, I keep changing my mind, but I hope I don't have to choose & I don't think I will have to. Susanna may not win but I don't think she will be fourth

Not me. Natalie, Abbey and Sophie have been much more consistent and are better dancers.

I agree on most points, except that if Susanna doesn't win, I'd like Abbie to lift the glitter ball. She is almost unrecognisable from the rabbit-in-the-headlights contestant she was at the start. It has been wonderful to see her grow into a confident young woman.

Same here. No one can match Susanna's enthusiasm. She just goes for it 100% and is obviously loving every moment. That's what I like to see on this show. I just they don't use the silly sofa prop again!

Well done, must have taken a lot of courage The atmosphere at this forum is getting very thick, people seem to take it all too seriously. But the structure of the forum members is hardly representative, no need to get worried either way. And as far as you do not have to have the last word it's still okay here.

I'm not sure if Sophie has been any more consistent than Susanna.

No fave this year, so I'll wait until the final, and then vote for the contestant who's dances I've enjoy the most. Controversial, I know.

Good for you OP. Scream it from the rooftops!

I have no problem with her winning and if Sophie goes first I might just chuck a few votes her way. I laugh when posters say she cant dance, she can, just not beautifully all the time. Kevin is canny, he's made them popular with the regular viewer, he dances frenetically to make up for her deficit and he can dance, to say otherwise is silly. They fit SCD perfectly. They're fun and tbh there's a few that gurn and do strange things so it's pretty even on that score.

I think they've done really well, quite like Susanna and really like Kevin, so he's, I'm at peace with it all.

I've loved watching Susanna and Kevin (from Grimsby) this year.

Is she a good technical dancer? Not really.
Would she win a professional dance competition? Probably not.

Are either of those two things the heart of what Strictly is about? Not in my opinion.

I really like Susanna, I don't see what's wrong with her being pleasant. Or what the big deal is about fakeness and smiling, would rather someone be like that than obviously not care about the show. I think Kevin has been a wonderful addition to the show this year so I'll be voting for him just as much as Susanna.

She's also got 2 of the 3 best dances of the series... It's not like she doesn't have the performances. If she gets knocked out early I'll vote for Abbey since I think she's done such a good job throughout the series

But until that happens ... > Go Susanna! Go Susanna! Go Susanna! <

Me too.

And as I have £20 at 7/1 on her, my Bank Manager will also be pleased!

Well, there's not much point in having a dance competition then. Let's just select a few z-listers, have them talk to camera for 5 minutes about why they should win, and we can all vote.

I do think that any reality show is going to be influenced by the participants perceived personalities. So many people say one year it should just be about the dancing but the following year when their favourite is no longer the best dancer they start to change their tune!

Me too! Susanna to win! She is a lovely dancer particularly her paso, walz & foxtrot. And another thing, she never fails to make me smile when she dances. To me, this year she has been the heart of the competition. She always gives it her all and never complains. Susanna is lovely and she and Kevin deserve it just as much as the others do!! <3

I doubt any of them would win competitions in Ballroom tbh. Some may be good but they are not that good.

I appreciate Susanna's enthusiasm which is wonderful to see - far rather that than those who hold back through notions of being embarrassed - and her paso and waltz are two of my favourite dances of the series. Her Latin can be rather manic and it's a big pity she couldn't reign that in.

I don't really dislike any of those left. They all have their weaknesses (Sophie lacks core strength and looks floppy, Natalie is let down by Artem's choreography, Abbey I've never been more than ambivalent about) and whoever wins it seems fair enough to me.

To a great extent that's really all it is.

We just get to know the celebs through their effort at dancing, instead of being in the jungle or something.

The public have a huge amount of control, the judges finagle to keep the unpopular but good ones out of the dance off, and everyone pretends the dancing matters.

I think it matters less and less, and the PTB are more and more transparantly spinning it.

It's a bit of a leap from saying that professional standard dancing is not at the heart of Strictly to saying we shouldn't have dancing at all.

Strictly is an entertainment show - the best technical dancer isn't necessarily the most entertaining.

There used to be a show where technical, professional standard dancing was the only criteria - it was called Come Dancing. This isn't the same show.

And it doesn't matter then, who is best, if you support anyone but Nat.

The others aren't as good, so you just pick the one you like.

BIB: This is my main reason for choosing Susanna (when I have to pick a "favourite") and, like you, I wouldn't be bothered by any of the final four ladies winning. All have their strengths and weaknesses and all of them have earned their place in the final.
