Panasonic TX-P50X60B
Hi I currently have a Panasonic TH42PX70 that is still going strong but want to go bigger to the TX-P50X60B before stock runs dry. I am not bothered about 3D or smart TVs and wondered if anyone had thoughts on this TV. I want a plasma and my main use is Sky TV and freeview with the odd PS3 adn Xbox 360 game thrown in.

I haven't got that model but have 2 50 " Pannys and love them
Panny is stopping Plasma production, so you may get a higher spec model cheap. I think its usually April/ May time for new stock to be announced |

Hmmm
Your PX70 was built to the highest possible standard almost with out regard to cost ! and against new plasm will still even after all these years look excellent. x60 is panas entry level ( very much so ) if you want to get anywhere near your original TV then have a look at VT range . That one will be OK . The makers of TV's have totally failed to get across the message about picture quality . I know some people are now thinking 4K is the way to go but others may be only looking for a stopgap . |
