Crisps
Anyone have any advice ?
Im thinking of cutting the potato with one of those cheese scrapers. Maybe use the micro ? Maybe halogen oven ? would be nice to hear from someone who s had good results. |

You'll need the right spuds, a mandoline, some hot oil, and sea salt. |

If you have a decent sharp knife and good knife skills then you could get away with slicing the spuds yourself. |

I'd of thought it would be difficult to slice spuds using that.
Just holding the potato would be a problem I would have though. |

You can import from Thailand or Hong Kong a crinkle cut chipping knife which looks safer than a mandoline.
Baked on an oven tray with some seasoning and olive oil or spray at 220c or Gas Mark 7 for 20 minutes. Beetroot, sweet potato and parsnips can also be used. So can turnips and swede. |
