Abbey's Tango and Paso Doble for me were both fabulous dances i was bemused at the 8s for the Paso

Sophie's Rumba and Argentine Tango were both worthy of 9s I feel

Susanna's Waltz

Patrick's Samba and Cha Cha Cha

I also really enjoyed Rachel's Cha Cha Cha

Deborah's Quickstep

She mucked up in a few places and it was pretty obvious, but hopefully she can correct that on Saturday and we see the routine in its full glory (and collect the 10s it will deserve).

For me, these both stand out as dances let down by the music choice. And in the case of the tango, by the addition of a ridiculous pony tail to swish in Aljaz's face during their staccato moves. I've watched back Abbey's Paso with sound muted and feel it could have been the Paso of the series with the right musical accompaniment. Eights. my arse

My fear is Abbey's showdance may go the same way, though hopefully the freestyle nature of the routine will allow the music to work. I'd be interested to know who of Abbey and Aljaz chose "Sweet Child of Mine" and also wonder how H&M will style Abbey's hair for the big night. I can't remember if the contestant's get hair changes along with their costume changes. I guess they must do.
