Fresh Turkey shelf life?
I plan to buy a fresh turkey from Lidl thursday 19th Dec and store in my fridge and cook on Christmas Eve.
Will this be okay? I see people saying 3-4 days in a fridge but the packaging usually says cook by 25th December. I have a large fridge, newish and temperature is below 3 degrees centigrade and it holds it's temperature okay. Opinions please. |

Presumably tomorrow is their Turkey special day?
Get one, freeze it until you're ready. |

just bought a Fresh Turkey and the sell by date is 26th December so ok.
