My hoped for result:
1. Abbey
2/3. Sophie/Natalie
4. Susanna

The more likely result:
1. Susanna or Sophie (Sophie having picked up Abbey voters after the first round).
2/3.(if Sophie not first) Sophie/Natalie
4. Abbey

That result because I think the Abbey/Sophie vote will be split in the first round of voting.
And Abbey will suffer as a result.

Also based on Sophie and Susanna will still (I think?) have their audience favourite dances to do - Charleston and Paso - after the first vote, and voters may well want to see them again.
Whereas Abbey and Natalie, although both producing excellent performances in several dances, have no dances to wait for that actually 'wowed' the voters.
(But of course I could well be wrong.... )

No idea but I hope it is one of Abbey, Natalie or Sophie - any of them would be worthy winners

There are plenty of people outside the forum who are voting for who they wish so you can't say that you have the power.

Having watched the training. I think Sophie should go out first as her showdance looks messy & not suited to her strengths, in other words Latin based. 99.9% sure this won't happen though, so best not to worry.

Winner: Susanna
Runners-Up: Abbey & Natalie
4th Place: Sophie

I'd prefer Abbey or Sophie to win but I think Susanna will win.

I would have said Sophie would be one of the runners-up but I think her showdance won't wow sufficiently to get the votes.

A few people have done crummy showdances and sailed through the first round of voting over people who did decent ones (Kara and Matt both over Pamela, Chelsee over Jason). I think Sophie's degree of popularity is enough that she'll be safely through even if she tanks it. She's also, if we're going down the line of the dancing actually mattering, got by far the best "Judges Choice" dance, with both her rivals for getting through having odd choices, particularly Natalie.

Pamela's show dance was quite safe and boring though - Matt and Kara's show dances might have been crummy but at least they tried something a bit more ambitious and different even if they didn't quite pull them off.

Winner: Natalie (based on previous experience, showdance and increased viewers)

2nd : Abbey (if her neeerrrvves stand up)
3rd : Sophie
4th : Susanna

Think Sophie & Susanna will both flunk their showdances

Natalie doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning. The showdance changes nothing.

I think this was true when it was danced last in the final but since they have moved it to the first part of the show I reckon it now plays a massive part in who gets the votes of the general viewer who doesn't already have a particular favourite. I think it is the dances done in the second part of the final now which don't really change much as there isn't much time for voting on the strength of them.

It's possible that Matt Baker's dreadful showdance that resulted in the possibly-unprecedented-apart-from-Chris-Parker 7 in a final from Craig killed his chances - but it might have just been his destiny to lose once Pamela was eliminated as Kara was in a different league without any of the "ringer" accusations. In 2011 and 2012 the winner was a done deal before a single step had been danced in the final.

If somebody produces a bad showdance it might stop them from winning. I don't think it's remotely possible for Natalie to produce a showdance that results in her instantly going from least popular with the public to the winner.

I agree that it's highly unlikely that Natalie will win, but if she does a good showdance then perhaps she may get enough votes to see her through to the next show like Denise last year.

Can't see Natalie winning, but it will not be for want of her fans voting.

Next best scenario is for it to end up a toss up between Sophie & Abbey voters with Susanna out first.

Possibly not the winner but I think if she has a knockout showdance that she could get through to the final 3 whereas someone with a weaker showdance might suffer because of it and be out first. Last year it was pretty much likely that Louis/Flavia were going to win at any rate but I do think their showdance would have had a huge impact on voters. I also think Denise and James benefited from a decent one which saved them being first out. I can see this happening with Natalie if she has a wow showdance.

Yes this is what I think too. The showdance has much more impact on the votes now than it used to have when it was the very last dance of the show. There was barely any time to vote on the strength of it before but that has all changed now.

If Sophie gets to do the Charleston, she will win. If she is put out first, I think either Susannah or Abbey will win. Natalie probably won't win due to unfair negative publicity from certain quarters

My personal preference, and ideal result would be:

4th Place:
Suzanna & Kevin(from Grimsby)

Runners-Up:
Sophie & Brendan
Abbey & Alijaz

Champions:
Natalie & Artem

HOWEVER, my prediction for Saturday night is:

4th Place:
Natalie & Artem

Runners-Up:
Sophie & Brendan
Abbey & Alijaz

Champions:
Suzanna & Kevin(from Grimsby)

It's very close now in the betting between abbey and Susannah - abbey should take the title, at least she can actually dance! Susannah would win a grunting contest, but has no rythym, so what are Susannah's fans voting her for?

I would like Natalie to win and Susanna to come fourth, with Abbey and Sophie to finish as runner-ups. However, I will be GOBSMACKED if that actually happens. In my mind, it depends on a few things:

1. Sophie's Showdance. This isn't going to be brilliant, and might be the worst of the Showdances - it just doesn't suit Sophie. If it really goes wrong/is seriously lacklustre, she could finish fourth.

2. Natalie's Showdance. Contrary to Sophie, if Natalie's Showdance is phenomenal and blows the rest of the competition away (which it might just do judging by the training), she could sneak into a runner-up slot.

3. Susanna's Quickstep. This is either going to be hugely improved on last time or a repeat of it, where she keeps messing up. I reckon it will be the different between her winning or being a runner-up.

4. The Running Order. It depends on who is put in the better slot out of Sophie and Susanna as to who might clinch the trophy. Both have real 'wow' dances for their favourite dances, so it could make a different.

I genuinely can't make an accurate prediction, so I'll make individual ones instead:

Abbey - I can't see her as anything but a runner-up right now.
Natalie - Either a runner-up or in fourth place, depending on Points 1 and 2.
Sophie - She could finish anywhere at all, depending on all the above points.
Susanna - Either the winner or the runner-up, depending on Points 3 and 4.

It's going to be close tomorrow night.
