Samsung Galaxy Tab Runs Slow
As the title says, the tab is running painfully slow. It only has about 10 apps downloaded and installed on it on top of whatever it comes bundled with. I have stopped all active apps, freed up RAM (but it is still saying there is 700+MB being used of 800MB available) and done a virus scan with it. Still nothing. It is also running the latest Android software.
Any ideas what could be slowing it down or is there something simple I could have missed? It's really a pain to try and use at the speed it runs at... |

Have you tried the old fashioned route and turned it off and on again?
It would start the tablet over again. |

Yup, even done that. Nothing. I can't think of anything else it could be.

It could be an app running in the background. Have you checked to see what apps are running in the background? Could be one running wild!

Have over 8GB of storage available and I've stopped all running apps and checked the list of installed apps to see if one of them could be doing something but I can't see anything. We have another tab (same make and model) and it works flawlessly and gets much heavier usage with lots of apps etc. so can't understand why one that isn't is having problems...
