Who looks the most confident finalist?
poshtamfan

When Zoe interviewed the finalists this week I thought Sophie and Brendan looked the most relaxed and the most confident couple.

I would love to hear what others think.

I agree. Sophie looked on top of the world.

Abbey seems the least confident (it's her nerves)

Susanna. No question.

Susanna is the most confident but I think Natalie is the most relaxed as she thinks she has no chance so is determined just to enjoy every single minute.

Susanna is positively (!) brimming with self-confidence yet often professes modesty. To paraphrase Churchill, she has much to be modest about.

Natalie.

Perhaps confidence is Susanna's downfall.

She has probably seen the polls.

Susanna, is too over confident, hopefully this will be her downfall

Sophie is under a lot of pressure as Brendan is desperate to win the Glitter Ball for a second time.

Abbey, is Abbey ... this late stage in the series, nerves shouldn't be a factor at all. IMO she is using her "nerves" to gain more votes from the public. Yes I do not rate her at all, so I maybe bias

Natalie, is the one who is most relaxed. She has reached the final and thinks she has no chance of her winning. Natalie will go out there on Saturday and enjoy every second.

Perhaps I do not read people very well, but I am unable to work out how one assesses confidence or otherwise from anything they've said or any face they've pulled on ITT.

Perhaps we need a body language expert...

Also get the feeling winning will mean more to Abbey than the others.

I think that Natalie and Susanna are probably the most relaxed and confident.

Sophie and Abbey probably not too relaxed. They're the only 2 who can possibly or miraculously try to have the edge over Susanna in the finals so I'm assuming that they must be really nervous. Especially Abbey.

Brendan will probably be the most nervous of the pros and the newbies too.
Artem must be chilled lol.

Edy, do you really think it would be miraculous for someone other than Susannah to win? The odds suggest abbey is very close to Susannah now, in fact Susannah's odds have been drifting all week whilst abbeys have improved. Betfair shows Susannah at 2.26, whilst abbey is at 3.4 - this looks pretty tight to me.

Abbey has improved much more than Susannah, I do like Susannah as a person but most of her dances the last few weeks have been poor - hence she has been bottom of the leaderboard. Abbey looks like the complete package now.

I try to be realistic . I would like to see Abbey or Sophie win but I'm trying to be realistic at the moment lol.

Is it not the partnership between the amateur and the professional that decides how well they are liked by the public?

Their partnership seals how they work as a team and Kevin and Susanna look like the closest couple.

So with all the negative things about Susanna that I see posted, it is only half of the story.

I don't know if they will win but I do think they do have a chance.

Going off ITT this week, I agree with you. Natalie was fine too. Abbey looked quite tense at times though and Susanna didn't have her normal composure (still sounded full of cold too).

However, when I saw then in training last night the roles appear to reverse. Abbey and Susanna were full of verve and doing well. Natalie not so much and Sophie looked quite worrying I thought. Not sure if all the clips were from the same point in training though, so not a good place to judge them from.

Hopefully all 4 girls will be relaxed tonight and enjoy their final ITT.

I think they all, in their own way, seemed confident and relaxed on ITT this week. I think it could be an amazing final and, despite what the press would have you believe regarding the voting, I think it's the most open it's been for years.

To be honest, you've reached the final - what's not to be happy about?

I thought all couples (pros as well as the competitors) looked really tired on ITT this week so I think it'll be the couple who can pull out that last bit of energy for the final dance who will win.
