Oh well, congratulations to them. I never warm to Carol Vorderman for some reason.

Their charities missed out through lack of time. . Still £10,000 is better than nothing.

It really annoyed me how much time Eammon Holmes and Alex Ferguson wasted. I think they should have a time limit on every round when they do these live celebrity Millionaire programmes. Maybe longer than the earlier rounds but never the less it would stop them pontificating and would be much fairer on the last couple.

Yes, absolutely agree. It is ridiculous to get to the last couple and tell them that they have five minutes.

People have been literally chased away for making far less critical comments regarding a ladies looks yet that comment goes unnoticed

I think Carol Vorderman looks terrific and apparently so does George Clooney who happened to once see her on television

I think you've been on here long enough to realise that the 'rules' only apply to some of us . I think it's commonly known as 'double standards' or 'hypocrisy'.

Well if he was impressed with Carol - he'd be absolutely struck dumb by my beauty!

Eammon Holmes should've been booked for time wasting!

I think we need a picture for confirmation

Alex Furguson didn't look wonderful either but no body seemed to notice,oh thats right he's a man so treated with respect and allowed to be himself without people nit picking at his physical qualities.

Forgot for a second

Nothing to do with being a man. Alex Ferguson is in his 70's and at least he doesn't wear dresses four sizes too small for him!

I just cannot stand Vorderman - I can't put my finger quite on why - possibly because one minute she's saying Krill Oil can save your life - the next thing its Benecol - oh and then there's another oil. And who can forget her wonderful Kumon maths thingy? The woman's a walking 'for hire' sign! She doesn't even give a decent amount of time in between each campaign. Lynda Bellingham was a much better advert for Isme as well! Mind you - I can't stand her either!

Oh - but wait - they're women so I must be jealous! Where does that leave me with Barlow though - as as much as I can't stand Vorderman - I'm positively her number 1 fan compared to what I think of that thing!

I think I would be very happy to see Alex in a dress four sizes too small for him But fancy Carol daring to dress such a way, what a strumpet

I myself didn't notice what Carol was wearing or indeed anything unusual about her. I assume she looked her normal self. I did notice a post proclaiming that she looked 'dog rough' which not only is rather damning but unusual considering the normal stance (on this forum) is that women don't consider the physical merits of other women at all when making judgements about them. I had been corrected firmly on this matter so your post struck me as somewhat at odds with this aforementioned stance.

Also regarding your aside concerning jealousy you seem to be inferring that my opinion is that women are jealous of all women, that that is their prime reason for dislike.I don't understand why you are internalising a view I held about the ladies in camp. I thought some women in camp were jealous of Amy,never when I began posting regarding that topic did I think about forum members.

Btw I never believed you were jealous of Carol Vorderman but that you were simply being unkind.

As for 'Barlow' I am at a loss. If you have been reading my threads (firstly I'm flattered! )and are referring to my preference for Peter Barlow maybe that is better discussed on the actual Soap section of the forum
