I've Got Class' Fantasy EastEnders
I'm determined to carry this on for as long as possible, I've made plans for the next few months and I have a good idea of where I want the storylines to go. My first episode shall air on December 23rd.

Thanks Queenie and Mitchell for the support.
![]() Vaslav, I'd love to! However, I'd probably take every opportunity to have the male cast members in various states of undress.

Steven Beale to make EastEnders return EastEnders bosses have today (December 20th) confirmed that Aaron Sidwell, who portrayed Steven Beale in the soap between 2007 and 2008, shall reprise his role as the character in the New Year. Executive producer I've Got Class released the following statement: Quote:
I am delighted to have Aaron Sidwell as a member of arguably one of television's strongest casts. Steven's return to Walford shall air in February and it's a return that shall provide a talking point for the residents of Albert Square. Steven will be a key part of the upcoming Beale storyline - there's a lot of tension between Steven, Ian and Lucy: we need to build on that. We'll be exploring the themes of sexuality, betrayal and regret with the character of Steven. There's great things to come!

Monday 23rd December 2013 [Episode One of Two]
A despondent Carol sits alone at the kitchen table, cradling a cup of tea in her hands. An air of silence in the room is prevented by the monotonous ticking of the clock on the kitchen wall, the noise emitted from the clock soon interrupting Carol’s trance-like state. With tired eyes, Carol glances at the clock and sighs when she realises that she has had yet another night of little sleep. Rinsing the remainder of her tea down the sink, Carol places the mug on the sideboard before heading back upstairs: desperate to grab just an hour or two more in bed before the kids wake up with their increasingly excitable morning routine. Dot sits in her living room, stubbing a cigarette out into an ashtray. When Dot hears the sound of the door bolts being unlocked, she realises that Poppy must be on her way to work and calls out to her lodger. Poppy waits at the front door as Dot springs up from her seat, keenly asking Poppy what alcoholic beverages she should purchase for Poppy and Fatboy on Christmas Day – although Dot insists that she shan’t be touching a drop of alcohol herself! With Dot questioning whether she has enough food for the three of them to enjoy, Poppy is forced to drop the bombshell that she and Fatboy won’t be staying with Dot this Christmas: they’re spending it at her sister Tansy’s instead. As Bianca prepares breakfast for the family, she soon notices Carol’s mug placed on the worktop. With her mother not downstairs for breakfast yet and having washed the mug herself yesterday evening, Bianca senses that Carol may have had little sleep for the third consecutive day. Instructing Terry to ensure that the bacon she isn’t frying doesn’t overcook, Bianca heads upstairs and knocks on Carol’s bedroom door. Bianca then proceeds to open the door, only to find a weary looking Carol wiping tears from her eyes in the mirror. A worried Bianca manages to form the words ‘Mum’, although Carol insists that she is fine before brushing past her daughter and heading downstairs. Bianca is quick to head after her mother, stating that she hasn’t eaten any breakfast. Carol tells her daughter that she’ll get something at work, before closing the front door behind her. Over at the Vic; Kat and Alfie sit at the kitchen table eating their breakfast – making conversation about everything other than their impending eviction from the Vic. When the couple hear Tommy crying from the next room, Kat excuses herself to see to their son. Brushing shoulders with Mo as she leaves the kitchen, Mo is quick to accuse Alfie of refusing to accept the eventuality of the fact that they have little time left as owners of the Vic. Alfie snaps at Mo, telling her that they have only until tomorrow to sort themselves out and of course he is going to put things off for as long as possible, given that the best and worst things to happen to him and Kat in recent years have happened inside the Vic. Carol arrives at the café – only to have Ian instantly berate her for being late to work. Before Carol has the chance to defend herself, she is surprised to hear Peter standing up to his father. Peter tells Ian that it’s nearly Christmas – so Carol is likely preoccupied with her plans for the festive season. He further goes on to tell Ian that today should have been Carol’s day off, so he is extremely lucky that she has turned up for work at all. Having been given a dressing down by his own son, an irate Ian walks out of the café. Carol thanks Peter for his defence – although remarking that she’s perfectly capable of standing up to Ian Beale of all people! Peter laughs, reassuring Carol that he is aware Carol could have held her own – he just couldn’t resist the opportunity to make his father consider his treatment of other people. Carol hands Peter his usual order of a cup of coffee and an iced bun: although tells him it is free of charge. Later in the day, as the end of Carol’s shift draws nearer, her phone rings. With no customers to serve, Carol hesitates before answering the call although she soon regrets doing so. The caller informs Carol that she is able to head to the hospital at any time in the coming hours in order to receive the results of her mammogram. Gathering her things together, Carol apologises to Marie for leaving her at such short notice before heading off. At the hospital, a nervous Carol sits opposite the consultant in an office decorated by cheap scraps of tinsel. Carol makes light of the situation, joking that she wasn’t aware the NHS budget cuts had forced the hospital to cut down on Christmas decorations. The consultant speaks briefly to her about the festive season, before he turns his attentions to the results of Carol’s mammogram. As Carol listens hopefully, the consultant informs her that the lump on her breast has been identified as invasive breast cancer. The words that fall out of the consultant’s mouth following this revelation pass through Carol, who sits dazed opposite the consultant: who she now sees as being purely the bearer of bad news. The consultant holds his hand out to Carol, reassuring her that they have caught the cancer at an early stage. Carol nods her head aimlessly as the consultant discusses potential treatment plans with Carol – before taking his personal card from his hand and exiting the office. Still clutching the card to her chest, Carol walks out of the hospital with her head held high: the pride she displays differing greatly to the utter distress she feels inside. Doof doof: Carol Jackson walks away from the hospital having been told she has breast cancer. |
