As we know in Day Of The Doctor all 13 Doctors we there so at some point during Capaldi's run will they ever make a reference to it something like.


Capaldi>"just got to go and help a few old friends sort a little problem out"

They could even say that the calculations have just finished so add that in it

just maybe they shot a few scenes with Matt Smith in order to use during Capaldi's run to refer to Day of the Doctor. It certainly would be a surprise if it just pops up mid adventure during a Capalid episode

The General Staff knows that he was there, how well they keep it under wraps is unknown as we don't know how the freeze is actually working on them.

All depends he is going to be welcomed with open arms or going to have tomatoes thrown at him.

What I meant was will they reference the fact he is about or has just been back (or forwards) to play his part in the events of Day Of The Doctor.

One theory is the calculations didn't quite finish yet and only contemplated during Capaldi reign so they could do that.

Does the Doctor know Capaldi was there, did anyone see him, he wasn't on the monitors nor did he make contact. He wasn't on the cloud at the end either, whether that was a dream or not.

It would be a bit bizarre and pointless in my opinion.
