iPod Classic question...
Hey guys,
I want to buy myself an iPod Classic as I've outgrown my Nano and want a device that can hold my entire music collection. One thing I'm wary of when buying new iPod products is that a new 'generation' will come out soon after I buy it and mine will become old! Although it seems like the Classic hasn't changed since 2009 (I think). Am I safe buying a Classic now or is a new generation iPod family imminent? And even then would there be any major change to the Classic anyway? Thanks |

iPods are usually updated around October.
You're right in that the classic hasn't had any changes for a very long time. It's likely that either it'll stay as it is or they'll discontinue it altogether. I suspect things like cloud hosting have overtaken the need for large storage of music, but that's not the best solution for all situations. |
