Can't speak for everyone, but she leaves me cold. I've not been wowed by any of the dances she's done.

I can read between the lines. The OP is clearly an outrageous attack on Natalie. Natalie is the best dancer in the show and it will be an injustice if she were to lose. But we of the Natalian Sisterhood have great faith. Please meet me at the Coven of the Brigadier where we are ready to create our positive vibes through the ether where the autobots of the interlink shall download a maelstrom of votes so that the true winner shall prevail against the dark lords of the Suzannahood.

Natalie seems to be the equal of her partner which is probably why she is the best celeb (ability-wise)! In terms of ability, she could be the all-time best ever celeb on any series of the show.

I'm not sure she has been THAT popular, there seems a lot more support for the other 3.

Nowhere near as good as DVO. Anyway, she is the best dancer by far this series - but the fact that she has had lots of previous dance training shows.......and the great British public just don't like ringers.

I agree with this, though personally I'd prefer Abbey to win and would be happy with either, they're both good. Natalie's technically a little better, but Abbey's close and has come from much further behind. Sadly all too often plenty of voters seem to ignore the word 'dancing' in the title - the best dancer hasn't won since Harry Judd...

I'm sure we'll have plenty of these threads for a long time. She's certainly attractive but somehow not sexy (for me). She can act all the dances but somehow doesn't bring out emotion. She's got great technique and her placement of the legs in the Cha Cha Cha looked particularly wonderful but ... admirable isn't enough.

After three months of watching them both, there seems to be no true friendship or genuine warmth between the two. At the end of the show dance, not one hug, as if to say, "Yes! We did a great job!" I just don't feel anything when I watch them together, no buzz, no excitement; it feels contrived - all of it, or too much effort; or maybe they don't get on with each other?

Sally . We've had a bit of bickering before. But fair play to your post. Twinks agrees

Completely agree. But I've been attacked a couple of times, for saying she's a ringer, by some of her more overenthusiastic fans. She never was popular, it was just the bookmakers making her favourite to win. She's also not disliked, it is just, as you say, the GBP don't like ringers and therefore vote for the others.

I should imagine that she is very popular after that stunning Showdance this evening.

How do you know she was popular in the first place. BBC don't reveal the voting patterns.

What a pathetic thing to say.

This is exactly how I feel about them too.

It's not pathetic at all. The truth often hurts.

She's popular alright. And her following means even more when you consider that she doesn't have many (if any) family and could feel alone in the world. She has made some fabulous friends and devoted fans and admirers.

Yes MACTOWIN indeed you were one of the over the top Natlaie fans who attacked me...last week in fact. Because you objected to me quoting her CV where she sets out that she was a professional dancer. I seem to recall you being excessively pro DVO last year too. You seem to like professional dancers and want them to win. Personally I prefer non-dancing celebrities who go on a "journey".

Nothing about the dancing then.

I agree, but just take a look in the new Poll for the favourite Showdance this evening. Natalie is way out in front after that stunning performance. Her fans could still have the last laugh.

The reason folks get cross is because Natalie ia NOT a ringer. A ringer is someone who hides their ability in order to decive.

You mean someone like DVO who claimed that in Chicago she "sat on a chair"? Well from that perspective Natalie may not be a ringer, but she has been a professional dancer. I said last week, I don't blame her, I blame the producers for signing her up. She dances exquisitely, and I have nothing against her, I'd just rather see one of the others who has genuinely been learning to dance lift the glitterball trophy. Each to their own!
