Oh for goodness' sake, that really is scraping the cynical criticism barrel. Can you really say that if you were in the same situation you wouldn't be in the least bit emotional? I doubt it, I'm sure anyone would be after such an intense competition unless they're an emotionless robot, which Natalie is not. She's only human.

No-one on here knows her, no-one on here has any right to label her cold and fake when you have no idea whether she's being genuine or not. I'd like to think that people have enough manners to give her the politeness than exists on here...

I just DID say it!!!!

From the beginning she has not connected with many of the viewing public, dancing ability, she had in spades, but she lacked that SOMETHING!!! FOR ME she has been a clinical performer but by numbers, with no soul, tonight i believed her emotion in her last dance, everything else we saw in the VTs was possibly genuine i would have just liked to have seen a smidgen of warmth before now.

I guess that we all see things differently because she has moved me from the very beginning, while Sophie seemed totally emotionless.

I had a senior moment post 30 and replied to myself.

Best Actress: Susanna Reid - particulary I noticed 'supportive' and 'congratulatory friend' with Abbey - she tried to lean across and hold her hand which Abbey didn't recipricate - when Abbey won she attempted to upstage Abbey with a huge kiss from which Abbey pulled away sharply.

My good lady and me did a bike race together last summer. We'd spent months training, and whilst there was no blood involved, there was a lot of sweat and occasional mild hypothermia involved given the English weather last April/May.

We needed to get round in a particular time to qualify for the gold standard, which we did. The first thing we both did on finishing (after checking our watches) was burst into tears, and we are not really very emotional people. To be honest, I'm rather embarrassed about how I acted! Sometimes, though, the intensity of an occasion, however trivial it may seem to others, causes an intense spontaneous reaction, and that reaction is often tears, particularly with the realisation that the event is over.
