Shame Sophie & Brendan couldn't do Charleston again

I liked seeing Susanna and Kevin's paso doble again but gutted Sophie and Brendan went as that Charleston would have been fantastic with her being more confident at the end. Apart from the paso doble Susanna and Kevin probably shouldn't have been in the final.

Agree totally. Patrick or Ashley instead of Susanna. They would finish 4th, Sophie does the Charleston again.
Abbey still wins, with the manipulation help from the judges.

I would have loved to see her perform the Charleston again, was sad she went when she did!!

My safest prediction for the final was that the Charleston would get 40 this time...never imagined they wouldn't even get the chance to do it.

It was awfully disappointing not to be able to see it again, it was wonderful

Pity they didn't show the wrap party on the red button. But then you might have seen more than a Charleston!

I really hoped to see it too but thats the way the cookie crumbles, maybe they will put it on the website as Sophie said she would dance it at the wrap party

Yes I wanted to see this again too. Let's hope someone films it at the wrap party and puts it on Youtube!

At least you got to see it the first time.

I had a gut feeling after the showdance that it would be them gone but I didn't want to admit it so I voted a lot anyway. Gutted we didn't see it because an improved version would have been dance of the series.

For me it would have been the dance of the night, if not dance of the series. To see Sophie dance it weeks after the first time she did it, would have been great as she has gained so much experience and it seems, confidence.

The problem was that their showdancee just wasn't showy and exciting enough

It does seem completely pointless to have had that elimination. I can sort of understand it in a three-person final, leaving the final two to have a head-to-head showdown but losing Sophie didn't do anything to add to the tension or excitement. It just felt a bit cruel.

I think most people would have been just as happy to have one single vote on all four after they had all done three dances. They could still have a break in the programme. There would be three runners up but so what.

It's a shame they don't allow person eliminated in 4th place to perform their favourite dance as a last/farewell dance (especially when they've spent all week rehearsing it and are already in costume). I remember Zoe Ball performing her showdance as a farewell after she was eliminated in the final but can't remember if it's happened any other year.

However, I do think that while her original performance wasn't a perfect dance, it was a perfect moment and I'm not sure that seeing it again in a technically more polished form would rival the surprise and delight of the original. I'll still remember it as by far the highlight of this season even if it never did score that perfect 40.

I wonder why they did not do a charleston based dance for the showdance and perhaps pick something else for their own choice. Sophie really looked great in the Charleston, maybe this would have been a stronger showdance for them, andmay have got them into the final, but we'll never know.
