A couple of weeks ago Brendan wife tweeted that Craig would never give Brendan a 10 cause he has his own agenda. Brendan has suggested the same thing on ITT.....yesterday on the red button interview I think Zoe stated something about what Darcy called the lift and Brendan mumbled something about does she really know what she's talking about. I really liked sophie thought she was a lovely dancer but I think the judges were being fair on her
Brendan on Craig and Darcy
Ballet is full of lifts, I'd have thought Darcey the most qualified of the four judges to comment on lines and transitions during lifts of the female contestants.
I think that it's time for a change of judges, Len changes his approach with his socks, very inconsistent and obviously has favourites, Bruno hams things up so much that his constructive criticism gets lost - and I detest his "flirtatiousness" and references to male chests - Craig is generally fair but hard and forgets to be constructive and Darcey was a ballerina and often delivers vague commentary "Really lovely" type stuff. And it is high time that the audience was tamed a little from being the fifth judge.

I thought he was just joking when he said that. If he wasn't, sure she's been on the show a couple of years, but I thought it was a fair thing to call that lift considering it prob resembled that to her.

Me too. I thought it was a wry comment because Darcey actually knew the name of the lift.

Yes, when he said she had only been 'doing it' for a couple of years, he was referencing dancing, not Strictly.
I took Brendan's 'what does she know' comment to mean exactly the opposite...that is, if anyone would know what the lift was called it would be Darcey. Guess he was just trying to be clever/ironic/funny, but it didn't come off?

I didn't have a problem until he made the 'Loser' sign on his head, behind Zoe's, during this weeks ITT. It's put him in my bad books for now and he may not have a chance to redeem himself if he doesn't come back next year.
Still he can always do a Cutler (Nicole) and make his presence felt by trotting out sour grape type comments on Twitter I suppose.

I think you're right. Especially when he did not give Susanna and Kevin a ten for their paso.
Plenty of dancers of Susanna's level or better never got a 10 from Craig. Dani Harmer, Holly Valance, Matt Baker, and Tom Chambers to name but a few. It was an ill-advised comment given how conspiracy theorists work, but I don't think it's inconceivable that Susanna didn't deserve a Craig-10 on merit.

Agreed I too thought it was irony.
Craig didn't give Susanna a 10 because none of dances were perfect. I think he's professional enough for this to be the only reason.
