Bluetooth Speaker problem :/
Heres the idea...
When i have a party this Xmas i wanted to play MP3s from my computer using a playlist etc So i bought a USB Bluetooth adapter and some Bluetooth speakers. All was great Music playing from some DJ software on PC upstairs and playing great through speakers in living room downstairs. But then... I decided to get a second set of the same pair of speakers for the dining room, thinking i could just add to them and play the same broadcast housewide I soon realised i can only link with one bluetooth device at a time!! So its either the Living room with music OR the dining room... not both ![]() Is there a way round this that anyone knows of? |

Ok after some head scratching i found a solution.
The problem is that Windows will only playback through one device. if you have 2 bluetooth devices your forced to choose just one. Or maybe your a gamer and sick of changing setting as your switch between your USB headset and your 5.1 desktop speakers. The answer comes in the form of software.. I installed the program "Virtual Audio cable" Sad part is that its not FREE, but if like me your prepared to buy anything that makes this work, its worth it. Btw i am in no way related to this software or the creator, i genuinely stumbled across this after 2 days of pain!!! The software creates a virtual output device called "Line 1" Then running another program that it comes bundled with it called "audio repeater" you choose the input, ie Line 1 and then an output ie bluetooth speaker 1 Then run the program "audio repeater" again, opening a second window and this time its Line 1 to Bluetooth speaker 2 Then as music blasts round your full house, you will probably shout "Woohoo" and scream a great sigh of relief that the headache is over hahah Hope this helps someone in a similar situation
