As there are only around 3 varieties of grape used in champagne.. (The primary grapes used in the production of Champagne are*Pinot noir, Chardonnay*and*Pinot Meunier.*) if I got a bottle of chardonnay and juzzed it up in a soda stream...

Would I have a drink like champagne? (Except geographical of course)

Probably not. But why not do a side by side comparison and report back?

No, you would have fizzy Chardonnay. It shouldn't need saying, but that really wouldn't be the same thing.

Were doing the same.
I give everyone a straw and we blow into our glasses like mad.
You can't tell the difference.
Merry Christmas.
