Tips for downloading aps (Sony Xperia)
I've just got a Sony Xperia Z1 'phone and when I try to download any apps, it gives me a list of what it needs, like making calls and amending information on my memory card, etc.
My question is what do I need to look out for? How can I tell which apps are good to download and which ones are not? I apologise if this sounds painfully obvious to those who know all about it but I am very new to all this. |

Don't get them from anywhere except official sources. i.e. Google Play. Read reviews if you're not sure. I usually read them based on star rating.
Amending info on memory card is usually a generic term for "We want to install this program, please let us." I've never had a problem with any app making calls/texts etc without my consent. |

Thanks for that. That has been a real help. Does anyone know what is best to install for streaming TV and radio? I can't seem to find a player suitable for all formats. It appears the BBC and ITV have their own versions. There is a chance others may have their own as well and you can't be expected to download them all, can you?
