The mystery of Rooster..
rooster seem to have managed to get to number three in the charts and have many sell out concerts and gigs and yet still remain unknown. As the majority of people seem to be oblivious to their existence?? not that this is a some great shame really but How can this happen?? although to be fair they havent been going that long though which could be why...
So just thought id ask who actually knows who the are and if you can solve the mystery ur a better sherlock than me. c ya |

I've wondered this, are they a group of guys who've come together with a passion for music (like Keane and many others), or or they "manufactured" like (dare I say) McFly (ducks head in anticipation of flack)!

Keane have a passion for music? They sure work hard to keep that hidden don't they?

Rooster actually scare me quite a bit! Theyre a manufactured band thats gettin ever soo too close to actual rock, leaving the Busted sound mould!

Having the album, references to the actual band are very vague. The inlay is just pictures and lyrics, and a credits page at the back. It tells you who writes the songs - but you can't put faces to those names.

It does seem though, with some people, they have to find out if a band is "pure" first before allowing themselves to like them, which I think means you miss out on a whole host of great music simply by being so petty. Last edited by pi r squared : 15-02-2005 at 00:12. |

just had a quick mooch on their site, they came together of their own accord, two of them met and started writing songs. The others were found from ads. the lead was spotted in another band years earlier, which is how the new band rooster got signed. Something to that affect.
Ah, that just screams of how Busted came together. I've managed to dig out the clip of the interview when they were on with Steve Wright on his show about 1 1/2 years ago. Last edited by dslrocks : 15-02-2005 at 01:49. |
