I got it as a 22:04 Finish but that hardly makes a difference. Not Going out seemingly finished in time.

It was an okay Episode of Not Going out, Nothing special but okay. Could get 5m I reckon.

I thought it was a pretty bad episode. Didn't find it funny at all

If i enjoyed it i would, but i don't. The constant spouting from Samuel doesn't help either. The fact is The X Factor is a platform that actually allows singers to become successful whilst being an entertainment show. The Voice is just an entertainment show, going by the fact that the finalists haven't done very well (by XF standards).

Btw You didn't actually answer the question. Would you say you enjoyed TXF is if you enjoyed it?

Never

I just think that not only will Mrs Brown get a lead in from EastEnders but it's In a good slot and also it's so popular these days. I wanted EastEnders to have the 9:00pm this slot but oh well

A debate about The X Factor and The Voice at 10pm on Christmas Eve night? Really?

I think every possible opinion has been discussed 100 times about TXF during the last few months, I don't think we need to hear them again any time soon.

Merry Christmas one and all - hope you all have a good day tomorrow whatever you're doing.

I usually tell myself I'm not going online on Christmas Day, but I'm sure by about 6pm I'll be using it as an escape despite my best efforts. At least there are no shows tonight we'll be desperate to find out the ratings for tomorrow.

How can you say that? I am desperate to know what Holby got tonight.

Dont worry it will soon be TV and Splash - I fear thats going to be just as tedious unless Samuel and HdV go on holiday - although not quite as tedious as the 2 shows are IMHO.

Glad somebody else actually watched it - it looks like most on here did not. I thought it was quite good - will be interesting to see how many stayed to watch it after Last Tango.

On Betfair Eastenders still down as 1.13 (or 2/15 fractional odds) to win Christmas day (non+1) overnights. Given that Betfair is usually as close to real life odds as it gets in bookmaker land, that seems quite remarkable to me. I'd favour Eastenders in the overnights, but more like 1.6 or 1.7 I'd say. Anyway I've layed Eastenders at low odds so I'm rooting for Doctor Who to win. [EDIT - market just closed, midnight]

Merry Christmas to the ratings thread

I know it's Christmas day and normal goes out the window, but it's mad that the evening news is on air not long after the normal lunchtime news finishes

Is there not normally a preview of what the Queen's message will contain, on the news on Christmas Eve? I can't see anything on the BBC News website.

Then factor in how both channels are running news bulletins at 3:10pm?

She isn't going to make a big announcement is she?”

"One is very much looking forward to watching a Mr Daniel Dyer on the BBC Television Service at 8.30 this evening. He will be taking charge of a public house named after one of my ancestors. My husband and I insist you watch."

Happy Christmas, all.
