Humax 9300T Antenna In

Hi folks

My 9300T has developed a fault in the "antenna in" bit of the PVR. I have emailed the techy's at Humax and they responded by saying that it would be cheaper to buy a new PVR than replace the antenna in component.

Surely there must be an easier and cheaper option?

Anybody experience similar problems and any solutions out there would be appreciated.

Merry christmas

Perhaps you could explain in more detail your problem? If by Antenna In you mean the tuner the Humax are probably right.

If the issue is simply the outer ring of the co-axial connector being broken lose it may be possible to solder this. I have done this successfully on a few occasions.

Hi guys

I've taken the humax apart and the problem does seem to be the outer ring of the connector. It's a little loose so I will try and do some home repairs.

Cheers for the replies.
