Hey,

For Christmas I hoped to receive an iPod Dock/DAB radio/Clock. I ended up receiving two!

Of course, I shall return one. Which one, however, I need help on.

I was given the Pure Contour 100Di and the Sony XDR-DS16IP.

I think, initially, my instincts swing towards keeping the Pure Dock, but perhaps some more enlightened people could give me some advice as to which one would be better to keep in the long run and which one to exchange? And also, if possible, some pros and cons of each?

You could always pop one in the kitchen and stream music to it from a NAS hard drive ?

If you can get a refund on either why not take them both back and use the money to buy an even better iPod Dock/DAB radio?

This is a very good point!

Although, I think I will end up keeping one and taking the other back just for ease and there's some other things I'd like to buy.

I would try them both but I don't want to open the boxes so anyone know a little more as to which one would offer better sound quality (my main issue) and also may seem to have the edge overall?

Check if either of them is compatible with DAB+. That is the future and if either, or both, are not compatible with DAB+ get rid of it or them.

They are both DAB+ compatible - just checked. So, for me, I guess it really comes to down to which will offer the better sound quality. Any help?

And any other notable features worth taking into consideration on each?
