I gave my budgies some seed sticks and a toy mirror.
I gave my hamster a tube to run through. I gave my rabbit a chewy toy. |

My cat got a box of tasty (and expensive ) Gourmet Perle catfood in sachets as advertised on TV by a somewhat aloof white cat.

Betty Chihuahua got a little red hooded coat and Mollie retriever cross got a nice knitted jumper. They were very clever too because seems they managed to knit me a hat and scarf set (my niece may have helped them I am thinking
)

Cats got a box of Whiskas treats. And of course they all got lots and lots of turkey! |

Gerbils got some seed and treats and tubes and then I got surprise gerbils that my family had managed to hide for almost a fortnight.
No idea what to call them and am still a bit stunned

Dog got some treats/new bed/harness/coat and toys.
Bearded dragon got bags of treats.... kinda hard to buy for as he won't eat his greens or herbs. He got a big fake plant to climb up too. One of my gifts was a big fish tank and stand, got money to buy something to out in it as they couldn't decide what to buy. I'm thinking about a couple of salamanders or perhaps mudskippers (with the heater and full kit). |

I think everyone has misunderstood the OP. It's about giving/receiving a pet for Christmas (
), not what an existing pet was given.I'm just hoping that was not what was intended. |

I was once given a wee female baby rabbit along with a pink rabbit tied around her neck. I wasn't overly impressed as I had my own 2 males and nowhere to put this wee one. She was gorgeous too.

I was given a blue budgie to replace one that pegged it a few months ago.

I didn't get a pet for Christmas and neither did I give one. That would be irresponsible and stupid.
