Was this supposed to happen last year? was reading the DS interview with Lorraine Newman from couple of years ago and she seemed to hint at this.

I think the early blue print for the Carters may have been with Sharon in mind but then they decided to focus on Shirley instead when DTC came in.
I doubt Sharon's family will come in any time soon.

I thought as much. I'm a Sharonista but I agree. It's too soon for this and I think it would have back fired like Stella and Leanne in Corrie which just had CONTRIVANCE written all over it.
I guess we are not going to see this now. Kris only made one appearence, it will be interesting if Gavin had children/grandchildren if he is indeed Sharon's Father.
