Sainsburys cafes
Multimedia81

Quite a few Sainsburys stores have cafes. However, I have noticed that some of them make fresh coffee but at others it just comes straight out of a machine at a press of a button. I have experienced examples of the former at Sale and Walthamstow, and examples of the latter at Bradford and Oldham.

The coffee does taste better when made fresh, but at least we get Nectar points either way.

Yeh Pret a Manger is usually my favourite, but occasionally they make it too strong, maybe is they used skimmed milk. After the "machine" coffee at Sainsburys in Oldham on Saturday I had a Pret coffee at Manchester Picadilly station.

isnt that just an excuse for doing anything at Sainsburys, I dont like that my 12 year old daughter is getting her belly button pierced, but at least if she does it at Sainsburys, we get Nectar points.

I would rather my husband didn't have a fetish for Sainsburys check out girls, but at least when he buys a few token items, before they go off behind the store together, at least he gets Nectar points.

you get where im going with this

No, because it's completely and utterly irrelevant.

We used to have a Starbucks in our local Sainsburys and it was always busy. Sainsburys have got rid of Starbucks and put in their own cafe. It's rubbish and empty.

Our Sainsbury's in Nottingham has done that too. It's been completely revamped and enlarged.

It's interesting to find out that some Sainsbury's used to have a cafe chain like Sainsburys but have subsequently introduced their own cafe instead.
