Avoid the Go Tab!

My wife recently got herself a little Go Tab from Amazon. While it's reasonable at most things, its access to the 'net via wifi is painful. Sites that come up in trice on my Blackberry Playbook take forever on her tab, and she often gives up because it seems to get permanently stuck. Junk.

But which one? There is more than one.

Which Android version is it running?

Have you tried finding out why it's so slow?

Why did you let your wife get a cheap Android tablet when there are quality alternatives?

Why don't you be a good husband and give the Playbook to your wife and you sort out the Go Tab?

So many questions

They are at least 12 months out of date, and sell for less than £80. I'm afraid they were always going to be landfill.

Alan1302. It's the 6" one and it runs Android 4. I suspect it would be very difficult to find out why the wifi is so slow, as these tablets don't give the user much access to the system.
And it was too late to stop her when she shoved it under my nose!

They're sold on the Ideal World shopping channel and a few days later their customer feedback section always gets filled with complaints from upset buyers because these (and the other el cheapo) tablets that they sell are, not to put too fine a point on it, trash.
