Lucky by Britney Spears is nowadays almost always called prophetic.

Lost in an image, in a dream
But there's no one there to wake her up
And her world is spinning, and she keeps on winning
But tell me what happens when it stops?

[Chorus]
She's so lucky, she's a star
But she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart, thinking
If there's nothing missing in my life
Then why do these tears come at night

Sad and scary how real it became.

Can anyone think of any others?

Party Over by Amelia Lily. It's her last single, it peaked at #40 and it led to the album being postponed (possibly cancelled). Hopefully she'll manage to turn things around, because it's not the best song to end on:

So it's over, wishing the stars won't fade tonight
Hold me closer, tomorrow's another day to find

I said it once, and I'll say it again
Oh you know, you know
I got a feeling that this is the end
Oh nooo

Tell me is the party over, over over, yeah
Is the party over, over over, yeah
Tell me is the party over, over over, yeah
Is the party over, over over, yeah
Are we getting colder, colder, yeah

Madonna's Miles away is about distant her and guy ritchie have become. About 5/6 months later after Hard Candy came out, her and Guy officially divorced. Quite a number of songs when listened to carefully are lyrically about a relationship slowly coming to an end. In some way Hard candy is her pre-divorce album.

I absolutely agree, listening back to a few songs now there's definately an underlying honesty to most of that record, I never thought of this before seeing your post.

Britney is the queen of musical prophecies:

Mona Lisa (recorded before her breakdown):
Spoiler

Then Rebellion (also before her breakdown):
Spoiler

Both songs were rumoured to be included on her scrapped album Original Doll. I find them both very mysterious to say the least.

I was thinking Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'
Or in a grander way, Bob Dylan 's 'The Times a They Are a-Changing'!

Gary Glitter - Come On Come In Get On

There's a place I know,
Where the kids all go,
Put our best drag on,
Party all night long,

There's a welcome at the door,
Once your in get on the floor,
Just the scene you're looking for,
I been there a million times or more,

Come On Come In Get On,

The lyrics to Rihanna's songs Good girl gone bad are true in small ways of what happened to her. She recorded the song way before she got with Chris Brown

But when he attacked her two years after recording it, Rihanna didn't just change as an artist, many say she changed as a person. She became a good girl gone bad.

The chorus it's self suggests to how she has become as well

Easy for a good girl to go bad
And once we gone (gone)
Best believe we've gone forever
Don't be the reason
Don't be the reason
You better learn how to treat us right
'Cause once a good girl goes bad
We die forever

The song also details how Rihanna finds out her man has been sleeping with other women, and reports suggest that the night she was attacked was over an argument on when Rihanna confronted him over her fears of him being unfaithful.

No-one's said the obvious yet

Amy Winehouse, Rehab.

It started as a bit of a joke that Amy was in on, then her own addictions took over, then when she died it became almost creepy & I noticed in the aftermath of her death it wasnt really played at all, having taken on a macarbre tone

I dont see why it cant be re-habilitated, at the time she wrote it she was not mired in drug or alcohol addiction, it was clearly meant light heartedly.

If anything the song has an ironic interpretation, if someone tells you to go to rehab the answer should be "yes, Yes, Yes"

Two come to my mind but not quite in the same way as in the OP

Queen - Thank God its Christmas - the lyrics are about a hard year and strange times and how Christmas will make things better - Freddie died in November so I always feel sad when I hear that song as a result - he never got that last Christmas.

Coldplay - Viva LA Vida - coz of when it was released just before the big crash it makes me think of all the people who would've lost jobs businesses pensions etc

Rihanna - Breaking Dishes

Released before her fight with Chris Brown, it is painfully ironic. It tells a tale of her waiting at home while her man is out somewhere, and she's sick and tired of him leaving the house, and wonders if he's cheating on her. She says that when he comes home she's going to throw dishes and all sorts, and eventually she is going to FIGHT A MAN. Oh Rihanna, if only you knew what was coming

He been gone since 3.30 (3.30)
Been coming home lately at 3.30 (3.30)
I'm super cool, I've been a fool
But now I'm hot and baby you're gonna get it
Now I ain't trippin', I, I ain't twisted
I ain't demented, well just a little bit (huh)
I'm kicking ass, I'm taking names
I'm on a flame, don't come home babe

[CHORUS]
I'm breakin' dishes up in here
All night (uh huh)
I ain't gonna stop until I see police lights (uh huh)
I'm a fight a man (tonight)
I'm a fight a man (tonight)
I'm a fight a man
A man, on a m-a-a-a-aan
A man, a man, on a m-a-a-a-aan

Oh

Azealia Banks - 212

Ever read the lyrics to the bridge of 212 by infamously twitter-angry Azealia Banks? The rapper who single-handedly ruined her own career before it even began by being a homophobic, racist, vile little bitch, who calls people faggots and tells women that their children are ugly? She had so much potential, her music is actually quite decent, and she was tipped for the top, but ruined it by being too big for her boots. Now look at this extract from 212:

A-yo, A-yo,
I heard you ridin' with the same tall, tall tale
Tellin' em you made some
Sayin' you runnin' but you ain't goin' no where
Why you procrastinate girl?
You got a lot but you just waste all yourself
They'll forget your name soon
And won't nobody be to blame but yourself, yeah

She's basically telling some girl that she is too arrogant, that she has potential, but is going to ruin herself, and nobody will be to blame but herself. OH AZEALIA YOU UTTER ****.

I found Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody prophetic. The lyric "Goodbye Everybody, I've gotta go, Gotta leave you all behind to face the truth" was as though he was singing about having to die so that the rest of us could find out the truth about Aids.

Otis Redding. "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay."

Then he fell in...

Actually his plane crashed into the lake and the only survivor was a non-swimmer.

I think 'The Show Must Go On' was also prophetic as by then the band knew of Freddie Mercury's illness although it had not been made public.

Take That's 'Never Forget' containing the lines 'We're not invincible, we're only people' released not long before Robbie Williams left the band.

Nirvana - Come as you are

And I swear

No I don't have a gun.
No I don't have a gun.

I thought of that one at first myself, but then thought it's more incorrect than prophetic

Seen as the song was recorded in the 70's before AIDS was even in the mainstream, I doubt very much that is what he was trying to say!
