KIM TIDDY JOINING EASTENDERS CAST

Actress Kim Tiddy is the third signing by EE Associate Producer Paul Vaslav. Tiddy, 36 will play Donna Anderton, the sister of new EP Darren Anderton and the niece of established regular Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell).

'I am delighted to announce the arrival of Kim Tiddy to our regular cast as Donna Anderton, Donna will join her younger brother Darren in the Square and is a chip of the old Anderton block - you can tell she is Cora's niece, that all I can say' said Vaslav.

SPOILER- 'SHARON AND IAN TO BE BUSINESS PARTNERS' -

DTC & VASLAV ASKING FANS TO NAME RENAME 'SCARLETTS'

Sharon Rickman (Letitia Dean) and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) will become Business Partners when Sharon buys Janine Butcher's half of Scarletts this spring. Sharon defies Boyfriend Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) when she decides to go into Business with her old friend Ian but Phil is not pleased says Associate EP Paul Vaslav.

'Sharon and Ian are lifelong friends but Phil is not pleased when Ian asks Sharon if she would like to join forces at Scarletts- Scarletts will be renamed and it will be downgraded from a fine dining restaurant to brasserie and wine bar' says Vaslav.

Vaslav is also asking the fans to rename Scarletts- Janine is now gone and Scarletts is getting a facelift and with it a new name so I am asking our fans to come up with a new name- if you wish to contribute please leave a message on this fanfic page says Vaslav.

I wouldn't say ditch this one Vaslav as I do quite like what your doing with it so far, Hope the new family your bringing in are the Harts i loved Corrine especially,,Kim Toddy should be good in EE and the teasers where intriguing

WATCH OUT IAN- 'STEVEN'S BACK'

Steven Beale is returning to EastEnders this spring says Associate EP Paul Vaslav. Actor Aaron Sidwell will be returning as bad boy Steven and this time Steven will be more evil than ever as he settles back into Walford.

'Steven is returning and I am delighted' says Vaslav, Steven has the potential to be really evil and mind games is a specialty for Steven, Ian is not pleased to have his step-son back and Steven also plays his Uncle David against Ian and will also find a new nemesis in Ronnie Mitchell, we will also see Steven play Danny Pennant and Johnny Carter against each other'

Steven is the first of four returns that will be announced by Vaslav in the next week.

PAUL NICHOLLS AND DANIELA DENBY-ASHE RETURNING AS JOE & REV SARAH WICKS

Joe Wicks (Paul Nicholls) is returning to EastEnders as DTC & Paul Vaslav continue their appointment of new/returnee cast members, Joe is the estranged son of David Wicks (Michael French) and we will learn Joe and his Father still have much to make up for but can both of them leave the past behind and build a new future after so many years apart?

Daniela Denby-Ashe will be returning as his wife Sarah who is now the new Vicar in Walford- what will Dot say one wonders?

Joe and Sarah will also be returning with two kids in two.

BIG EASTENDERS RETURN FOR ROSS KEMP

'GRANT IS COMING BACK TO WALFORD'

Ross Kemp is returning to EastEnders eight years after he last appeared in the show as Grant Mitchell. Kemp who played hard man Grant from 1990-1999 and then again in 2005 and 2006 has been drawn back to the show with a promise of big storylines- Grant will also be bringing his teenage daughter Courtney with him.

Vaslav-

'DTC and I are delighted to announce that Ross Kemp is rejoining this EastEnders this summer and that the character of Grant is back for good alongside his teenage daughter Courtney. Grant is integral to EastEnders history and in the run up to the 30th anniversary next year we just felt we needed Grant back in the Square'.

How will ex wife Sharon and his Brother Phil feel when Grant arrives back in Walford and could we see Sharongate 2014 with Grant aiming to win back his ex wife.

Grant will be back on screens this Summer.

NICK MORAN JOINING EASTENDERS

East End Boy Nick Moran is joining EastEnders it has been confirmed. Moran, 44 is the first casting confirmed for the new Hart Family which will arrive in May.

Paul Vaslav-

'I am pleased to announce that Nick Moran is joining our cast and is the first signing announced for the new Hart Family, Nick will bring a sprinkle of East End toughness to his role, at present we are holding back the names of the characters until we have announced all the Actors within the Hart Family'

TRISTAN GEMMILL AND KAZIA PELKA JOINING EASTENDERS

Tristan Gemmill and Kazia Pelka have been cast as husband and wife Sam and Corrine Hart in EastEnders joining Nick Moran in the show in May.

Actress Martha Mackintosh the daughter of Actor Steven Mackintosh is to join EastEnders as newcomer Saskia Hart, the daughter of Sam (Tristan Gemmill) and Corrine (Kazia Pelka)

PAUL VASLAV ON CAST DEPARTURES, RETURNS AND NEWCOMERS

EastEnders Associate EP Paul Vaslav has confirmed that there be no more returns/newcomers until the summer as we want to allow our new characters and returns to bed in.

Vaslav-

'We are losing eight cast members and have eleven returning/joining cast members coming back/in so we want to see all those characters bed in and to follow their stories as the winter and spring unfolds without bringing in too many characters as eleven is a big number'

The first departure will be Dexter Hartman.

Im hoping Danny will play a bigger part. I thought you would be quite invested in him...
