Labelling their most recent album as personal and their best yet, and it normally is the opposite.

calling an album a comeback album just because you haven't had one out for something like 2 years

Saying you have grown as an artist, but they are no different to what they were before

That isn't a cliche nor is it true

Dubbing new artists/bands as the new 'past' artist or band.

As in Lady Gaga or any other female blonde american pop star is the 'new Madonna'!

I also find if a new female artist is in their teens, they automatically classed as the "new britney"

I'm afraid it is true. Rihanna releases almost every track as a single then once she has finished listening to the album she is off making a new one.

But what you said originally is what I am saying it isn't true. She doesn't release a new album within weeks of the last, and she doesn't release almost every single tracks from an album. She has released 6 songs from her last album and only 4 of them were proper official singles and that is 6 singles out of a 14 track album.

It can't be a cliche if only one person has done it.

Precisely.

I really like Rihanna, proper, slightly flawed pop star.
