Hopefully we'll get some spoilers or something about future Johnny storylines coming up, as the next two weeks are going to be pretty sparse by the looks of things. We won't have much to discuss on here.

I did think this might happen in terms of it going a bit quieter for the Carters, as Lee should be due to appear in about three or four weeks time (going from the fact that he started filming two or three weeks ago, and filming is usually six weeks behind the date it airs.) It makes sense that if they're going to do a big storyline around his return, they'll hold back on the Carters for now and give other families more focus. Plus we know that Sam had two weeks off, and I think that ended... about three weeks ago now? So I don't expect to see him much for the next three or so weeks.

Johnny is awesome , he is definitely the best out off the Carter clan with Mick a close second. I used to really like Linda, but I feel they need to tone her down and develop her in a more sympathetic light.

I'm rarely ever on the appreciation section these days .

I agree about Linda. I love Johnny, Mick and Nancy but I really think they need to start making Linda more sympathetic.

Am I right to assume, that Johnny wasn't featured much in last night's episode? Haven't watched it myself, but since it's so quiet here...

Johnny and the Carters have gotten a decent amount off screen time tonight. Not much, but a little and that is a compliment when golden girl Stacey is around .

I'm sure Johnny will get a decent storyline soon which I hope has nothing to do with his sexuality for a good while anyway. Not that I have anything against that or anything, but I feel if Johnny is plunged into a relationship storyline in the near future then the usual narrow-minded comments will prop up that "Eastenders is defining characters by their sexuality" etc. etc.

No more JOhnny for 2 weeks now am i right? Oh well at least I have Will and Sonny on Days of our lives to watch!

Yeah, I agree. There's definitely been more and more people starting to criticise the Carters on the MF. It's entirely within their rights to do so but I can see those types of comments popping up if Johnny gets into a big relationship and doesn't really have any storylines outside of it. I do want to see him in a relationship but probably not a big 'serious' one at this point, and I would prefer to see him involved in something big and dramatic rather than just lovey-dovey stuff.

It would be good if they did an internal family storyline with the Carters when Lee and then Dean arrives. Just really focus on the way the family dynamics change as a result. I'd quite like to see them exploring that over the end of March/April. Lots of heated family arguments, as well as manipulation from Dean and Stan. I think that would be very interesting to watch, and won't receive loads of complaints about the Carters being too involved in other character's storylines.

I'm hoping that the next set of brief spoilers we get, for w/c 17th March, will show that the Carters are back that week. I have a feeling that this will be Lee's first week, either that or the w/c 24th, just going by when Danny-Boy seemed to first start filming - so that will hopefully mean lots of Johnny that week. The spoilers should be released this Tuesday, so hopefully not too much longer to wait.

Still waiting for someone to put up the spoilers for week... I can't remember which week! But the week after the week after next.

Sam and Danny-Boy have both been filming early mornings this week from the looks of things. Don't know what that means in terms of storyline implications but it seems to indicate that they've got a lot of stuff to film? So hopefully the Carters will have the 'A' storyline six weeks from now.

I love reading their tweets that they're in early to film, and it's been an exhausting day. Really something to look forward to in regards to Johnny, and his brother Lee.

Have the spoilers for 17th- 21th march been released?

They have been released now, but no mention of Johnny or the rest of the Carters. It is only a three-episode week though, due to Sports Relief on Friday, and Johnny is definitely in it the week after that (at least once) because he's in the Script Peek for Friday 28th March.


I also personally think that's the week Lee comes into it.

From the start of April, I have a feeling going by the amount they seem to have been filming that we'll see Johnny and the Carters pretty consistently for that whole month.

Obviously I'm excited to see Johnny back, but I hope he starts getting some storylines away from that tiny little circle of him, Linda and Whitney (with a bit of Mick and Nancy thrown in on occasion) sooner rather than later.

Ha, a soap crossover. I don't watch Emmerdale but looking at pictures of Finn, he seems quite cute and geeky so him and Johnny would probably get on well.

Finn is amazingly cute and so geeky. I just love guys wearing those Clark Kent glasses He's definitely a favorite of mine, together with his brother Ross.

Sam was just on the One Show very briefly. . Danny and Kellie were being interviewed but Maddie and Sam were backstage waving at the camera. Kellie said about how beautiful they both were and Danny said they were going out for a family meal later.

I was hoping they'd talk about some upcoming stories for the Carters but there were no questions about that.

Sam looked really cute.

Edit: All four of them were on during the last bit. Fearne Cotton completely ignored Sam and Maddie but they were stood right by Danny and Kellie. They're such a good-looking family.

Johnny is in three episodes the week after next. Both of the Thursday 27th episodes and also Friday 28th.

Yeah, I'm sure there was a reason Danny-Boy wasn't with them. It seems like they've got a break from filming now so maybe he's not in London at the moment. I absolutely love the way they seem like a proper little family in real life but it will be nice to see all five of them together, on and off-screen.

And I genuinely can't wait for the episodes! Whitney isn't in the cast list for that episode about Linda getting the wrong end of the stick, so I'm glad my theory that it will be something to do with her hasn't been proved correctly. I wonder what it could be, though? Maybe Linda sees Johnny with a guy and assumes it's someone he's seeing and gets mad as a result? That would definitely cause tension between them.
