It would be nice to see all five of them on-off screen, like you said!

Please let it be a class mate visiting Johnny in The Vic, I so want that to happen, lol. Also, I'm thrilled Whit isn't on the cast list, so Johnny can interact with others- preferably Peter, since he's in both thursday episodes

His Batman tweet was really random. He was probably up until the early hours of the morning watching it. Batman has always been my favourite superhero, I've always liked the fact that he doesn't have any super powers but kicks ass anyway. And the villains in the Batman universe are definitely the best. Between that and Breaking Bad, Sam has excellent taste.

Also hoping that we see Johnny interacting with some different characters such as Peter. I also think him and Jay would be good friends. But mostly I'm just looking forward to having him back!

The Batman Universe definitely has the best villains- no doubt. My love for Clark/Superman & Lois Lane reach no ends though. I have so much love for them

Having him back is really all that I care about now, lol!

I would love it if that happened but I don't think it will. Someone on the MF who is usually quite accurate with their information said that Charlie and Ronnie hit it off soon. Looks like they might be setting up a love triangle with Ronnie, Charlie and Aleks.

It's a shame as Charlie was the last of the new arrivals that could have been a match for Johnny but maybe they'll bring in someone for him a bit later down the line.

Yeah, I've got no doubt he will meet someone in the (hopefully) not too distant future - they won't pass up the chance to do that as the reaction from his family and in particular Linda will be extremely interesting. But I think I've given up on it being a regular character; they may well have him start dating someone from university, which is probably the most realistic outcome.

I just hope that they're not saving him for a relationship with Ben Mitchell if he ever comes back. Really don't want to see that.

A few people on the MF expressing surprise that Sam wasn't nominated for any of the audience-voted nominations at the BSAs. What do people on here think? I personally don't think he ever stood a chance for Best Actor as he's still so new to the show (I know Danny was nominated but he's such a well known actor that he may actually
stand a chance of winning anyway) and as for Sexiest Male, well, I'm not bothered at all about that category in general and I think Sam would have been completely embarrassed by it if he made the short list.

I think best newcomer will be the one to look out for when the panel-voted categories come out.

But some of the nominations are bizzare. Like lacey turner. What has she done in her short stint to warrant a nomination, as well as Michael being left out for best villian his character was a dominating part of last year and his death has caused a big ripple effect that is still going on

So i don't know what to think really as a whole.

Yeah, I was surprised by the Lacey Turner nomination. She's a great actress but she really hasn't been in it enough this year to justify being nominated. There's some strange choices too for HO, which is the only other soap I watch.

But in terms of Sam, and the Carters in general, I wasn't surprised by any of the nominations.

Sam not being nominated didn't surprise me in the least. When does the nominees for "Best Newcomer" be revealed?
I was surprised that Lacey got a nomination, and as much as I love her, and the character of Stacey, I did not vote for her.
Last year for me, Emmerdale was top notch- so with the exception of two votes, it got all my votes

She thinks he's flirting with a customer (it doesn't say which one), and makes her feelings on that known. I can definitely see why he'd want a job away from her. Poor Johnny.

I like how him and Lucy have began close. Lucy's relationship with Christian was one of my favs and unlike Roxy, she saw him more than just a gay man. It's a shame this won't last with Johnny with her pending death.

I like that he's hanging out with Lucy more. I quite liked their scenes after he showed her Danny's true colors.

I remember some discussion on this thread a whole ago about the possibility of Johnny working at Sharon's bar, so I think it's safe to say that we're (sometimes!) in tune with the writers.

At the time I didn't want Johnny working there as it sort of felt like a betrayal after the brief Carter/Mitchell rivalry. But now that seems to have died down, and even if it hasn't, I think Johnny would be perfectly in the right to seek work elsewhere. Linda needs to accept that she can't control every aspect of his life and this is a good way of making him independent.

Plus from a storyline POV, I think Johnny is more likely to get more 'grown up' ones at the new bar then he would stuck in the Vic, and it gets him out of that small circle of characters he's been stuck with so far.

I guess there's a possibility he doesn't take the job but I honestly really hope he does.



I'm also liking his relationship with Lucy. I like her much more in her scenes with him.

It is a shame it won't last, though. Saying that, hopefully this means that Johnny will get some decent scenes in the aftermath of her death. It's going to be such a huge storyline this year that I'd be disappointed if he wasn't involved in some way.

As much as I love Johnny, if I had a choice between watching him for a few episodes or going to New York, I know which I'd choose.
