Sorry, I meant that he'll probably get the doof doof next Friday (the 4th.) He isn't on the BBC website cast list but he's on the Radio Times one which is for the whole week (so we don't know the specific day); therefore he definitely appears at some point next week, and judging by the spoilers it's most likely Friday.

Johnny is just... gosh, he's lovely. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed that the builder wasn't trying to come onto him, he was hot! Although maybe he was. Having a girlfriend never stopped Danny.

I wish I could sympathise a bit more with Linda but I'm finding it so difficult. Johnny has a lot more patience then I would in that situation. I genuinely think I'd have moved out by now if my mum was like that. I mean, she basically accused Johnny of acting indecently?! For talking to a guy?!! When Johnny gave her that blank Mother's Day card, I cheered a little bit. She really deserved it, IMO.

The Mick and Johnny scene was my favourite over the two episodes. I've been a bit annoyed that since that wonderful coming out scene, we haven't had any more interaction just between Mick and Johnny, so it was good to see them having a heart to heart. I loved the way Mick said he was going to be a good little lawyer one day, when he squeezed his face. I think that Danny and Sam have the best 'natural' chemistry out of the various actors in the Carter family. Really love their father/son relationship, just wish we got a bit more of it.

And finally, the way that Johnny was the bigger person and held out the olive branch to Linda was very in keeping with his personality and character. He is such a genuinely nice person that doesn't want to be at the centre of any conflict.

Some nice little Johnny scenes. As expected, I enjoyed the scene between him and Sharon most. And of course Johnny knows how to make cocktails - he's basically the perfect guy.

I also liked the little hint we got of bad boy!Johnny at the end, looking all shifty and naughty when Linda was explaining the plan to Shirley. But we know that next week he starts feeling bad about it, so it doesn't last all that long. Guess he's just too much of a sensitive soul to pull it off for long.

I didn't really understand his motivation for landing Lucy in trouble over Jake designing the website. At first I thought he was just asking innocently but then when she glared at him he seemed to be slightly challenging when he looked back at her. I suppose it makes sense, actually, as he seems equally good friends with Lauren, so he was probably looking out for her.

Johnny is only in the Monday and Tuesday episode, which is a bit disappointing as the rest of the Carters (including Lee, who has definitely been confirmed now) are in it all week.

Oh well, we have had a lot of Johnny recently. I guess I'll cope... somehow.
