I loved tonight's episode!! Johnny was so funny and sweet. When he was running away from Phil and Sharon I genuinely laughed out loud. Can't wait to see him trying to avoid them on Thursday.

I don't think Johnny was actually really checking Curtis out
He was looking at his bum (not much of a bum to look at) because of how tight his jeans were and how silly he feels he looks. Johnny clearly doesn't like guys with tight jeans. I also think when he was looking at him behind the bar, it was more of a checking out the competition to see what Curtis can do with cocktails and if Johnny has some rivalry in that department

Hmm. I definitely assumed he was checking him out, but I'd like to think that Johnny wouldn't just go for someone due to their looks. And Curtis seemed quite egotistical and boring from the short scene we got of him.

Loved loved loved tonight's episode! So much Johnny.

Johnny is in all four episodes the week after next, yay. To be fair, though, so are most of the cast for Monday, Tuesday and Friday - I guess they're building up to Lucy's death and using as many characters as possible in order to increase the amount of suspects.

I'm looking forward to Thursday 17th as the cast for that episode is quite small and Daran Little is writing it. Definitely my favourite writer, particularly when it comes to Johnny's characterisation (although after tonight I think Leo Richardson might be a close second.)

Leo Richardson was very impressive for someone who did that one episode as his debut. He clearly had been taking a lot of notice of the characters to apply pen to paper for then it to become a script to screen.

I know this is a little OT but it dose concern Johnny....Whitney kisses Lee. Now she dose seem desperate (More then ever) but tbh that is just Whitney but as long as she leaves my Johnny alone IDC!

However i wonder HOW Johnny will react to this, after everything they have been through?!?!?!?! Cant get the guy she really likes so sshe goes for his brother?!?!?! PATHETIC! Just leave Lee for Stacey IMO!

I replied to you on the other thread but I agree, it is all a bit desperate on Whitney's part. I had a feeling it would happen, though. Just a shame it has to be so predictable.

regarding friday's episode:
LOVE that Johnny was featured so much. He was practically the star of the episode! Fantastic script from Leo Richardson, and how I LOVED the scene with Johnny/Sharon.
I actually felt sorry for Whit, but who wouldn't if we had genuine feelings for another person, and that person was unattainable? What I'm trying to say it that I actually could see Whit's POV in this episode, and it was heartbreaking to see...

I do feel sorry for Whitney but the spoiler about her and Lee has made me slightly less sympathetic, I have to admit. I just don't think her feelings for Johnny could have been that strong if she's willing to get involved with his brother straight away. I guess I shouldn't judge until it plays out on screen, though.

Loved the Lee/Johnny scenes last night, they're so cute together. I love the dynamic between all three of the Carter siblings, actually. They just feel very natural and realistic. I can see Lee and Nancy clashing a bit as they seem quite similar personalities, but both of them seem to be protective of Johnny, even if they do give him a hard time. Really nice dynamics between them.

I wonder if Sam is gay in real life - to my knowledge he's never referenced either way on twitter or in interviews. I might just mistake him for being a very good/amazing actor, but he's very 'natural' when it comes to the 'gay' scenes which makes me think he could be recalling his own experiences/feelings?

I don't know, but he's amazing regardless!
