Johnny is left humiliated by Linda’s actions.

This is the week when Sharon is attacked.

I think Ben will be suspected of the attack which might be how he eventually returns. But I'm not too sure at the moment. It's hard to tell as we've got no clear indication of when Ben is coming back into the show.

I think it will be to do with Johnny's sexuality. Maybe some guy is flirting with him and Linda completely overreacts? I expect this is all leading up to Linda coming to the gay bar (which will happen quite soon after this episode if it fits in with Pride) and finally supporting Johnny. So I fully expect this spoiler to be the start of it.

There's terror at The Albert when Sharon is attacked and left for dead - with Johnny hiding upstairs! Will Ms Rickman survive? Plus, Ian and Masood patch up their differences, as Phil demands answers from Shirley.

Tuesday 17th June 2014
A petrified Johnny finds an unconscious Sharon and calls an ambulance. As Phil races to the hospital, Mick and Shirley provide emotional support. Also, Ian tells Denise he wants to set a date for their wedding...

Shirley makes a big confession to Phil - but how will he respond? Across the Square, Peter's angry with Les, and Denise is pleased when Ian bonds with baby Lexi. Meanwhile, Linda urges Johnny not to reveal the truth...

The Carters help Dean settle in at his new Salon, Ian and Denise try to be spontaneous and Johnny visits Sharon in hospital. Elsewhere, Shirley desperately tries to talk to Phil following her declaration - what will he say?



This makes it seem like Johnny knows the attack is happening... or maybe doesn't realise that Sharon is being attacked but knows that The Albert has been broken into?

I wonder how the Thursday spoiler about Johnny and Linda fits in with the one about him being humiliated by her?

Can't believe I'm away on holiday this week, sounds like Johnny is going to be a main character.

They're wording it as if Johnny does a 'Billy' like when Jase died. I thought Johnny would innocently be upstairs and then come down and find an unconscious Sharon - or as you say, know the attacker is there in some form. Poor old Johnny is probably scared half to death and doesn't know what to do. By the sounds of it maybe Linda views Johnny negatively from this and feels he could have protected Sharon more in this, as the other Carter siblings would probably have jumped to her defence in his situation. Whether he knows Sharon herself is being attacked or not is unclear though. Maybe another heart-to-heart scene between Johnny and Sharon in the Friday episode?

That's what I figured would happen. Him possibly hearing the attack does open up more storyline potential in the sense that he may hear a vital clue to who the attacker is, but to be honest I'm not too happy with it being written this way as I think he'll get a lot of the blame. The reality may be that he simply 'freezes' and is too scared to do anything.

If he does hear it then I expect the Friday episode will be him apologising to Sharon, or breaking down at her bedside.

The Linda stuff is quite intriguing; if she 'humiliates' him then this would suggest that she herself reveals that maybe he did something cowardly but she's the one urging him not to say anything. Unless someone overhears them, maybe?
