Maybe the Sharon attack isn't as important a story as it has been made out to be. Going at the cast lists it looks more like the second or even third most important storyline of that week.

That guy is such a prick. I noticed he tweeted Sam the other day but it wasn't too bad, just slagging off his acting. The tweets today have been vile. I hope Sam doesn't see them.

He's probably just doing it for attention but you never know, there are some serious nutters out. Think sam and the EastEnders need to be aware just Incase.

Fortunately for me the page no longer exists when I click on that link. Why any1 would slate a good hearted fit great actor and absolute beaut of a man that is Sam Strike/Johnny Carter is beyond me.

It genuinely annoys me that people are like that - I'm guessing as I can't access the links that the tweeter and the posts were reported.

those tweets are just plain vile. the fact that there are people in this world who talk like that, be it in person or behind a keyboard, worries me.

I hope Sam doesn't see them. He's a fairly sensitive soul as it is. And like I said Sam Strike is an amazing man.

I'm glad that Sam isn't being drawn into it and appears to just be ignoring it. Definitely the most sensible approach. Nonetheless, I hope that it has been noted by the show's producers and that they do take the safety of their cast seriously. I'm sure this was just a guy making idle threats on Twitter but some of them were so horrible (and specific) that they can't afford to take chances.

I see that user's account has been deleted now. Danny Dyer retweeting the screenshot raised a lot of people's awareness of what was happening. Hopefully that's the last we (and Sam) will hear from this loser.

I've been tracking these forums months before I signed up - and I gotta say whenever there were Johnny Carter related threads and I saw what you posted on them you always said exactly what I was thinking. Good to have more like-minded people on the thread.

And whatever I'd say here would only echo what you've said in this here post. The only thing I will say is not to dwell on it longer as though even Danny Dyer himself has got behind on this publicising it more will only make it more in Sam Strike's face, and I doubt he'll wanna keep seeing those vicious comments come up on his twitter feed, bless him. Even though its meant well from those wanting to report the comments and retweeting them for awareness against this loser (the person making the vicious tweets).

And yes, I'd love to give Sam a big hug and tell him he's amazing and that whoever this loser tweeter guy is knows nothing.

The actor that played Terry said that Sam wouldn't care about this in the slightest, so hopefully that's true. He does seem to be incredibly grounded for his age, bless him.

Just saw the cast list for the week 16th-20th, and Sam's name is under Letitia's (Sharon) for the whole week. That detail makes me so happy, and hoping that Johnny's focus that week will be mainly on Sharon...

For the moment, I'm much more interested having Johnny being in scenes with Sharon, than having him meet a guy.

ooooo I just had a thought.....What if Johnny does meet a guy at pride, they go out and start a relationship and he has a 'dark' secret that obviously all us know and it turns out it is Ben Mitchell, sounds like something DTC would pull out!

Yeah, I do think there's a possibility of that happening but I guess we'll have to wait and see!

I'm debating whether to stay up until midnight tonight for the spoilers for next week. I really shouldn't but it's tempting.
