Really excited for EE tonight!

I loved Craig as a background character and his unlucky in love story with the bitchy girls he fell in love and slept with. I was waiting for him to get a big storyline of his own so was glad when that was McDean, even though it has now been tarnished to bring back James Sutton, I have my nice memories.
As for James Sutton, I agree. He sometimes tweets/replies before he thinks and he's very passionate about LFC which does nothing for me whereas Sam is quite mysterious on Twitter and it's a nice novelty almost when he tweets, even though I want more from Sam people in the limelight should sometimes be more like this. Tonight's ep is finally only hours away for you guys, I wont be watching live as I have to work tonight

McDean is probably the best gay relationship storyline ever told in a British Soap for me - and I kinda hope Johnny has that sort of storyline too (he'd probably be JP in this case).

James Sutton can be opinionated - I have had phases of following him then unfollowing him then following him again because he can be quite blunt. That said, I'm quite opinionated on Twitter!

I like that Sam Strike is introverted, it makes him endearing and even more cute - and he seems to bring those aspects into Johnny as well to a fair degree. And I also like that Sam doesn't tweet much; he's such a down to earth guy. As bad as it sounds I almost skip a heartbeat when he does tweet

I agree it was an honest love story. I did love parts of Stendan too but wasn't as mad for it as McDean I can see where people can find it an obsession though, totally.
I hope that he doesn't have to hide a closet case boyfriend like JP did though. Funny you said that actually as I was thinking the other day how similar Nancy and Johnny are to Steph and Craig Dean in HO, their chemistry and how they bounce off each other. They live in a pub, Nancy has epilepsy like Steph did and obviously the LGBT element of Craig and Johnny.

I totally agree with everything you said about Sam on Twitter, I do like a shy boy I've just noticed on Twitter that Sam has filmed "The Dog ate my Homework" I have never heard of it but it's a CBBC panel show and it looks like it will be airing in September so that's something to look forward to and hopefully Give Out Girls will be airing on Sky Living soon as it sounds really good!

Hmm I'd rather that though than a boyfriend who abuses Johnny in any way. Plus it would be a satisfying end when the boyfriend finally chooses Johnny and they end up together and in love. I never really hugely rated Stendan - but I respected that they were meant for each other.

I never clocked that - thinking back their chemistries do parallel each other. Especially Steph and Craig's relationship after the JP reveal.

Introverted guys are my type - and me too I'd wanna be on the inside, getting to know the man beneath that cute shy exterior, and being there and complimenting him and reassuring him whenever he has doubts.

Will have to look out for that! I don't know whats going on with Give out Girls, it was supposed to be broadcast early Spring and its now a fair way through Summer. I'm just curious to know if that undone shirt Sam is wearing in the trailer when he's holding that girls breasts comes off or not

It's a show that's going to be on Sky at some point. I think Sam is only it for one episode. The trailer was doing the rounds on Twitter a while ago but I can't find it on youtube, sorry. He was only in it for a second.

Great episode of EE tonight. Really enjoyed it. I thought we might get something else come out about why Linda is so protective of Johnny, and I guess we did get that bit of information that she named him after her father, which was a bit anticlimactic but it was still good to hear more of her backstory. I really enjoyed their reconciliation scene and it definitely feels like this is meant to be the start of a new chapter in their relationship which I'm happy about.

I adored the scene of Johnny, Linda and Nancy in the taxi and Nancy saying "Be gay, be free!" or something like that. Made me laugh. And Luca is very cute (although a bit short for Johnny. )

What a beautiful episode. Again I love how they explored the relationship between Johnny and Linda in an objective way.

So Linda's Dad was also called Johnny? And he died in her arms? That explains in part why Linda is so overprotective over Johnny - because she doesn't want her to let him go and for history to repeat itself I guess.

Some lovely, lovely Linda/Johnny scenes tonight - and I wasn't expecting Linda to actually take Johnny to the pride event. Hopefully this is a new leaf for Linda - we'll find out more I guess when Johnny brings his fella back to the Vic in a couple weeks.

And that fella better treat Johnny right. Johnny deserves happiness. Go have fun Johnny.

He is tall, yeah. I think he's 6ft as he's roughly the same height at Danny Dyer who is meant to be 6ft. But I would like a nice tall boyfriend for Johnny, it just looks better to me. Luca is really cute, though, so he'll do for now.

I think Johnny/Sam is taller than Danny Dyer. I don't know - I think Johnny's eventual bf will be smaller in height (not by much), but that's just based on instinct.

Honeymooning in Italy with Johnny. Sounds like pure perfection. Waking up on a white bed next to him, with rose petals scattered across the bed. Me and Johnny holding hands as we walk down the streets of Rome. Making a mess whilst tucking into our spaghetti bolognese. Dancing in the moonlight at a quiet bar in rural Italy. Lots of laughing and hugging. And looking into each others eyes. And cute spontaneous kisses on the lips.

I'm in fantasy mode again.

W/C 7th July Johnny appears in 7th and 8th July episodes - and the fella appears in the 8th July episode as well.

I just hope Linda isn't the cause for things to not work out between Johnny and Gianluco.

Hmm, I thought for sure that Johnny's dilemma would be about Luca but he isn't in the Thurs episode. It's a very small cast that day so it might be something to do with his family. And Daran Little is writing! Going to be another great week for Johnny, methinks.

Its good to have a Carter only episode (well and Patrick). Why is Johnny not in the Friday episode? Maybe the dilemma is that he does go off with Luca but things may not work out. Plus I'm sensing that with all his venturing on Twitter of late that Sam Strike might be having a much deserved break from EE - or at least will be back in the background soon. Maybe Johnny just isn't in the Friday episode because he isn't. Maybe the dilemma does concern Lee - Lee does get the doof doof here.

Last night's episode was perfect, that's all I really have to say really!

Yes, I have a feeling that maybe Johnny does go off for a while with Luca, it would make sense for his character to do this now as he's finally being allowed to 'be free' (in the words of Nancy ) although it does seem strange that Luca isn't in the episode credits if that's the case, especially as he's meant to be in three in total. Unless they've deliberately held back his name as it might be a surprise as to what Johnny does?

I think this might be the episode Daran tweeted about a while ago when he said he was 'grappling with Johnny', which suggests he's a big focus of the episode, so Johnny being conflicted about whether to go to Italy or not, ending with him maybe deciding he's going to, would fit in with that. Or maybe it's something else entirely and Johnny isn't in the Friday episode just because.

I have to say that if he does go, I wonder where that leaves him in terms of his resits?

But I can't call it, to be honest. Hopefully we'll find out more tonight, and if not then in the midnight spoilers on Monday/Tuesday.

Btw I just picked up the recent SoapLife mag - and theres more info about Johnny during the first half of July. Theres a couple photos - one of him and other Carters singing karaoke as the Spice Girls (Johnny in a baby Spice wig).

Also theres a pic of him and Gianluco having a goodbye kiss. I just have to imagine I'm Gianluco. I just have to......

Also Linda's pregnant and Lee's got a secret over the Lucy Beale case.

Actually the dilemma is after the kiss Johnny wants to see Gianluco again - but Gianluco goes back home to his family.

I'm sure I heard that SoapLife isn't always 100% reliable. Like I thought that Linda announces the week after next that she wants a baby, not that she actually is pregnant. But I could be wrong.

The Carters as the Spice Girls is going to be awesome. And of course Johnny is Baby Spice. Sweet and innocent but with a bit of a naughty side. And grr, if Luca breaks his heart then he's got me to answer to.

I don't know, I usually get Inside Soap.

But now mixed emotions now I've seen that image of Johnny and Luca having a cute kiss; part of me is heartbroken, part of me hopes that Luca will treat Johnny right, and the biggest part of me wants to be Luca in that moment.

I think Luca will unfortunately break Johnny's heart. I think he'll have a lot of people to answer to.

Whoops do forgive me. It's the baby bombshell that Linda wants another baby. I guess I was so shocked to see Johnny kissing Gianluca that I misread.
