I think that's a Johnny shirt. Sam tends to wear more casual stuff, not many button up shirts etc, from what I've seen, more like simple t-shirts with his leather jacket. Johnny's style is a lot more "preppy".

I wonder which magazine this is taken from? And oh my goodness he's sat next to Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones. Very cool!

He's worn those casual t-shirts on EastEnders as well though, like usually in the Carter breakfast scenes or those early morning scenes - or under a shirt or jumper.

That's awesome! That could be photoshopped though, or a panorama with several pictures of various actors on that sofa amalgamated into one. Still it would have been awesome if he'd got to meet her. Or better yet Holly Willoughby - think she was at the TV Choice Awards as well?

Yes, I think sometimes Johnny sometimes slips into Sam's style, but Sam never goes preppy like Johnny; it's either a little bit rock/grunge or ultra smart suits at awards shows.

This is Sam, right? I'm sure it is but something about that angle made me do a double take! He looks hot though. This was taken at the christening for Danny's youngest child at the weekend, I guess.

Yeah, I did think it was him, just wanted to double check. He does look incredibly hot there, and his hair looks great. I'm not usually a fan of it pushed back but now it's a bit shorter it looks really nice in that style.

True that. He does look good smart though.

He always looks hot. But yes I agree, hair pushed back when short does suit him more And he looks great in leather.

A lot of the time on EE I think he looks cute rather than hot/sexy (that's not a bad thing, I love cute guys!) But in that picture he's definitely more hot than cute.

I was reading the interview with DTC in Inside Soap and he said that the coming out scene with Johnny and Mick was his favourite scene he'd done so far. I wish that he would use Johnny a bit more; I understand that he needs to treat all the characters fairly but it just seems to me that if he knows how much people responded to that scene, Sam's performance was a key part of that, and he really needs to give him a storyline that's going to make people fall in love with Johnny even more.

Ok he looks cute most of the time but when he dresses smart, especially in that blue shirt I mentioned a couple posts back, or what he wears at the Albert, he looks extremely hot Hot as in 'I wanna rip your shirt off' hot. Hot as in......well.... you know. (in the least creepiest way possible of course)

Tbh that scene stands out to me as the highlight of DTC's work on EastEnders since taking over from Lorraine Newman. It was a beautiful scene in every aspect. Johnny needs a good storyline - I've always said this but if he was paired with the right fella they could be the new McDean (HO). Sam Strike and his character just from those first few months have grown a considerable fan base off his own back predominantly from those scenes. DTC needs to bare that in mind that both the actor and character are popular.

Didn't realise Johnny was a football fan - swear he wasn't when he first came in though.

God he scared me half to death though when he ran in the fire. That was brave and heroic of him though. He deserves the biggest hug.

I don't think he particularly is, he probably was made to as a child but isn't that bothered now. Although plenty of gay guys love football, I like how John Paul McQueen is a Liverpool supporter although it's not been mentioned as much in this stint.
It was a funny story about Linda & Mick. I could imagine how awful it must've been!
He was just adorable tonight, loved what he was wearing and his hair, I think his style at the moment is the best Such a brave boy too

I don't think he is, is he? He was talking about Mick in that scene. Could be wrong though. I hated how Lauren was rolling her eyes at Johnny and Nancy actually having happy, funny stories to tell from their childhood. She's such a misery guts.

He was very heroic during the fire and I loved Mick and then Linda taking care of him afterwards. Really nice scenes.

Also it made me laugh that he asked if Lauren had anything stronger to drink. You don't tend to see Johnny drinking very often so it was nice that he was ready to let his hair down a bit.

I only said as when Johnny was introduced DTC described him as someone who wasn't into football much - not the usual 'lad' stereotype that Lee is.

He really was adorable tonight. I must be sad as hell but I'm actually still genuinely worked up about him going into a burning building. Proud of him but a bit worked up. For god sake Neu he's a fictional character! I have to remind myself of this.

I did love the denim jacket especially.

Was his hand burned? It kind of looked that way when the paramedic was tending to it in The Vic afterwards. Poor thing.

He should put his hand under cold water for a bit. I'll kiss it better. That'll help.

Oh yeah, I had forgot about that. As they all say "he's just our Johnny".
It's a shame about the denim jacket, I hope it washes okay or he goes and buys another one as it's on point.

Johnny probably likes a glass of rose or lambrini LOL. I hope Sam would much prefer a pint of Stella and a Marlboro Red.

Did anyone else think the Johnny scenes were a bit out of character tonight? Especially the leading the charge into a burning building, he's hardly been portrayed as a hero in the recent past (e.g. at the Albert) or are we meant to infer that he is toughening?

Yeah I agree. It didn't make a lot of sense him running into the fire. There was no explanation for it. Two days ago he was scared of a fish and now we're supposed to believe he is some sort of super hero. Didn't buy it. Johnny's character started so well, but since the June stuff he has just become a talking extra. Still, least he's some eye-candy!
