Oops! No, you're quite right, Johnny did look unnerved by Ben (not sure why I thought it was mutual attraction, as looking at it again Johnny did seem very much uncomfortable), whereas the attraction was pretty much one-sided on Ben's part! And who could blame Ben of course, I mean Johnny is gorgeous as we all know. If Johnny does fall in love with Ben over time, hopefully they can be happy together despite the inevitable opposition from their families. No doubt "Shirl" will be doing a lot of frowning - which will be nothing new really, (lol... ah no, I like Shirley) - and warning Johnny off Ben, I can just see it now. But if Ben were to treat Johnny like the prince (that he is), I would give that relationship my full blessing! Honestly though, I don't know if I like the idea of Johnny and Ben being together. Ben has a lot of issues and Johnny would be caught up in his problems. And I wouldn't want him to turn on Johnny the way he did with poor Heather if he got angry enough.

Could Gary Lucy/Danny PLEASE return to EastEnders and resume his relationship with Johnny? I know there was a bit of an age gap, but my gosh, they were really good together. Both VERY CUTE guys.

Ooh, Johnny/Sam in a suit, yes please! Hopefully tomorrow (fingers crossed!) And yes, Johnny is very cute and kissable (I like that word, very apt in this case)!

Oh, and thanks for posting a link to that Tumblr page - I have bookmarked it, I know I'll be spending quite a long time on that page (and checking regularly for updates, tee-hee!)

I'd like to hope that if Johnny/Ben does happen that Ben would treat Johnny right like the gorgeous prince Johnny is (Johnny is way out of Ben's league so Ben would have work to do). Tbh the storyline would be more amplified if it was mutual true love between them rather than say an abusive or not so nice relationship. Yeah I don't want poor old Johnny in danger - and I can see Ben possibly becoming obsessed with the 'If I can't have him no-one can' mentality - a good part of the reason why I want Johnny to steer clear.

I wouldn't say Danny was right for Johnny either - but I'd rather Danny than Ben.

Johnny will be in his pink shirt this week me thinks (as the wedding day goes over most of this week). Not his best colour but still cute as hell.

Looks like next week Johnny is in it all week. Good we're seeing more of him.

I think Ben is always going to have an edge about him so unfortunately I can't see any relationship between him and Johnny being drama-free. But I do think it would be quite an interesting dynamic if Ben continued to be unpredictable and a 'bad boy' but absolutely worshipped Johnny and wanted to protect him rather than hurt him. And him then getting frustrated because everybody assumes that he'll be bad for Johnny and possibly abusive towards him. To be honest they have all the makings of a power couple; they've got the Romeo & Juliet aspect to them being from two warring families, they're complete opposites of each other - Ben's darkness to Johnny's light (in both personality and physical appearance) and they're played by two really strong young actors full of potential, so I think the chemistry will be there as well. It could be really good but I just hope they don't go down the predictable abusive route (I can't help but worry that they seem to have dropped the whole Tosh being abusive to Tina storyline so that possibly they can do it with Ben and Johnny instead; hopefully that isn't the case.)


I would love this so much. Danny was SO hot. But alas, I think they kept Gary Lucy around only long enough for Johnny's coming out storyline.


I think he looks cute from the brief glimpse we got of him in the advert but then I always think he looks cute. I do prefer his hair pushed forward though.

Ha, I knew that as soon as I went on holiday he'd be in it every day. At least I'll have lots of lovely Johnny to catch up on when I get back.

Just the way we like it

I really hope tptb don't go down the domestic abuse path with Johnny/Ben if they ever become a couple. That would be so devastating to watch. I much prefer the scenario you described, _elly001 where Ben is protective of Johnny, and still has his edge. Tptb have it all layed out infront of them to write an intriguing beginning to a power couple in the making- if they even go down that path, which I hope they do

No specific Johnny mentions but I'd be surprised if he wasn't in at least a few episodes that week, what with it being Nancy's birthday party and Linda struggling to cope. I think it's going to be a very intense, emotional week for the Carters.

He did look lovely though. Having the venue in the pub doesn't leave much room for people sneaking off and snogging anywhere (eg Ben and a certain someone).

As much as I did enjoy the ep, I did find myself going "Where's Johnny?!"
Loved the scene with Nance, Whit and Lee, very funny.
I also think I caught Ben checking him out when he was serving the food, but then again that could be in my head!

Loved the episode tonight and yes, I still love Johnny in that pink shirt with the black bowtie Yes, he was hardly in it, but I did love seeing him with Nancy, Whit, & Lee. So good to see him smile.
