I can't wait for you to update the blog with pics from tonight's episode. Also am I right in thinking that tomorrow's episode directly follows, and it's also written by Daran? So it should be another nice one in terms of Johnny looking gorgeous and being written in the way that we all love him. I honestly think Daran and Leo should be the only ones allowed to write episodes that Johnny is in.

I'm confused about DCI Malachy (as I think of him ) - is he Lauren and Peter's stalker or is it just someone who looks like him? But yes, I'm pleased to see that it looks like he's sticking around. I miss Malachy and Kris from HO so much. Cheryl, Brendan and Lyndsey too. That whole Irish group were all really good characters. So it's nice to see Glen in EE after all this time.

And yes, I love Charlie and Ronnie together, they're so weirdly cute, and their chemistry is awesome! I hope that they get together properly although I think that Nick returning will probably cause some issues for them as apparently Ronnie and Nick are set to clash. And also Ronnie doesn't know yet that Charlie isn't a cop, so that will probably come out at some point. But I'm definitely rooting for them.

Guys for Children In Need this year EastEnders is doing another musical thing. My guess is that the Carters will take centre stage here as they live under the Queen Vic and love musicals.

They should sing something from Les Miserables. It would be interesting to see all the actors sing properly; I've always been curious about Sam's music side (which he's kept relatively quiet) and of course the rest of the Carters. They'd probably sing all together with maybe Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright taking more of a lead. It would probably be a more serious version of their karaoke nights and musical references. I'm guessing the actors can sing, not sure how well (as I've never really heard the actors sing).

Loving the blog updates! Some really cute pics of Johnny on the blog.

I have to say, it is a little frustrating at how much in the background Johnny has been lately, he hasn't had any major storylines since the Sharon incident/meeting Gianluca (I think that's how you spell it anyway), which was around June. It's always nice that he at least pops up every now and then, I suppose, and not just totally disappeared off screen for weeks on end like certain underused characters seem to do in other soaps. But yeah, I'd like to see more of him onscreen!
Johnny looked really cute in his white shirt the other night. I loved Elaine's support and acceptance of his sexuality. I loved it when she said, "I always knew" and Johnny gave a cute, shy laugh. Elaine seems like a really cool granny to have! Everyone needs a gran like Elaine (who I hope will be back very soon).
I also hope that Gavin (who's hopefully just as cute as Johnny) will make an appearance in the Square in the not-too-distant future.
I never heard of "Give Out Girls". I must make sure to watch it on Tuesday!

For those of you worrying about a lack of Johnny, he is in every episode of 27th-31st October week and the only Carter to be so. He's also pretty high to midway on the list as well, so will presumably have something of importance - he's near Ben and Sharon a lot, so maybe this is the week that properly begins.

Yes, it's the same costume but it's a bit more complete in these pictures. He makes a very cute vampire. I think going from these pictures the kiss may be the week after. Looks like next week we get Johnny befriending Ben, Abi trying it on with Ben and Johnny generally being confused about Ben's sexuality (and some sort of confrontation between them due to it.) There was also a picture of Mick talking to Johnny where Johnny looked a bit unhappy - I wonder if Mick tells him to stay away again.

Hopefully we'll get an actual article about this tonight.

Johnny as a vampire - I shall have to watch these episodes!

I thought it was Ben finding out about Johnny being gay not the other way around? I also thought Johnny kinda knew about Ben already judging by that episode where Mick warned Johnny away from Ben, and also Johnny's coming out episode.

Maybe Mick warns Johnny away from Ben altogether, romance or friendship. Johnny might wanna be friends with Ben, but Ben gets the wrong idea and makes a move on Johnny. Then they become buddies in regard to their sexuality, maybe helping each other get a fella or something. I can't see it going further in the near future because it would still be unrealistic at this point - plus Sam Strike's been on a lot of breaks seemingly atm.

Plus its not being made out to be a major thing next week - this wasn't on the initial DS spoilers at all. Either they're holding something back or more likely it'll be a bit like the Walford Wonder storyline in terms of importance.

The captions to the pictures were quite vague and it's possible that Holy Moly got some of the details wrong - they don't really go into a lot of description, so it could be Ben finding out about Johnny. Not sure.
