Not really sure what to make of that to be honest, what do you guys think?

I really really fo want something to happen bewteen johnny and danny just cause the reason that otherwise it properly be a long while before johnny gets with someone and can't see them keep repeating the same old storyline with linda not accepting him till he gets with someone

It would make my estimation of Johnny go down, if he does sleep with Danny. I don't think he knew about Lucy when he first kissed Danny, but he clearly does now, and I don't think he'd be the type to just ignore the fact that Danny is meant to be in a relationship.

I do wonder if Danny is going to put any pressure on him in Thursday's episode, though. I could imagine him being quite persuasive and Johnny giving in to a kiss, but maybe stopping it there and then telling Lucy.

I've seen a couple of comments about how Charlie Cotton, when he comes into it, might be gay. At the moment there just doesn't seem to be anyone, so unless they bring in someone specifically for him I agree with you, James_Taylor2, it just seems like it's going to be a long time before he gets with anyone.

I think Johnny will sleep with Danny, but since Danny is leaving do you think he might ask Johnny to come with him or just leave with the money?

I think it's more likely that Danny is going to be really angry with Johnny before he leaves. Lucy definitely finds out what he's really like on Thursday, so the Johnny stuff must come out, and I think it will be Johnny who tells her, or someone he confides in. I think Lucy's revenge will be somehow conning him out of any money he's invested in the business, leaving him with nothing. Danny is probably going to leave completely penniless, and I can't see him being at all happy with Johnny if that's the case.

By the way danny was asking johnny about the hooking up later i doubt he would ask him to leave with especially if johnny is the one to tell lucy, but I also think that johnny and danny will sleep together

Yeah I agree with you, I originally loved Penter and I was really disappointed when it was announced Gary was leaving, but now that he is, this whole thing does seem a bit pointless.

I'm quite "meh" about Danny being Walford Wonder. First it was SO obvious, remember when Nancy & Johnny talking about asking WW what his favorite movie is, and we see Danny standing in the middle of them in the background... Also the way he revealed himself to Johnny was underwhelmed. If he wasn't leaving then I would feel very different.

Looking forward to see Johnny tonight in new scenes, and I've got a feeling that he'll share some with Danny...

Question: Do you guys/girls have a/any favorite Johnny scenes you go back and watch?

I've noticed that he's done something differently to his hair recently which makes him look even cuter. That makes me laugh, actually, because it makes me think about Maddie Hill in an interview she did saying that Sam spends longer in hair and make-up than she does. So cute.

I too think we might get at least one Danny/Johnny scene tonight. I'm interested how they'll build up to someone telling Lucy about what Danny is really like, and whether it will be Johnny or someone else. I guess the other option is that she might see them together? As the spoiler just says that she's 'enlightened to a few home truths about Danny', so I guess that means that she might find out herself. Can't wait to see!

I definitely have a few favourite Johnny scenes but I don't tend to watch them back (other than the kiss with Danny which I'll admit, I watched a good few times ) I also loved the coming out scene and the jukebox scene. But really, I just love any scene with Johnny.

I hope Johnny tells Lucy some "home truths" about Danny. When Danny told him that he was the Walford Wonder and they should hook up that night, Johnny looked over at Lucy, so I'm really hoping.

I love all scenes Johnny's in, but I will say that his coming out to his dad, the jukebox scene where he "raises the roof", him making his mother think he got Whitney pregnant is all made of win.

I'm also really looking forward to have Lee come into the show, and interact with Johnny

Yes the scene with him convincing Linda that Whitney was pregnant was also brilliant! I also really liked the other scene he had with her, going back a few weeks now, after he came out and they were sat at the kitchen table together and he was trying to convince her that he was still exactly the same as he'd always been. That one made me well up a bit.

I'm so excited for Lee! Also, I love the actor already as he's actually acknowledged my existence a couple of times on Twitter. I'm really interested to see what his relationship with Johnny is going to be like. I've always loved older/younger brother dynamics (was a massive Supernatural fan back in the day, haha) especially when the older brother is really protective. I love the relationship between Johnny and Nancy, where she clearly looks out for Johnny a bit whilst also being quite jokey with him, so I hope that Lee is just as close to both Nancy and Johnny. I'm still a bit worried that they'll go down the clichéd route of making Lee homophobic, so I hope that doesn't happen.

I too also love the dynamic between older/younger brother, where the oldest is protective of the youngest- and like you, I too am a Supernatural fan ( the early years). I really want to see Lee/Johnny/Nancy having a close relationship of each other, and I don't want Lee to be homophobic- that would just be too cruel for Johnny IMO, and very clichéd like you said. The drama can come external for the young Carters, not internal.

Yes, I think it's a good idea to post Sam's tweets regarding EE, so that we've got a bit more to discuss, although I have noticed that he doesn't post loads about it. Danny-Boy tweeted yesterday (I think) that he'd been hanging out with the Carters. I wonder if they were filming or if it was more of a meeting. I tweeted him to ask when he would be appearing on our screens and he said it wouldn't be long, so if they film about six weeks in advance then hopefully he'll be there by the end of March.

I'm also wondering how Dean(o) is gong to fit into the Carter family dynamics. He's about the same age as Lee, so I can see them either being quite friendly or not getting on at all. I don't know how Dean and Johnny will react to each other, or whether they'll have much interaction at all. I know that Dean's initial storyline will be more about Shirley, but she's very much a part of the Carter family now so it will be interesting to see how Dean is with the rest of them, especially his cousins, and how they react to him. If he comes back as a bit of a villainous character then I could see him being quite resentful of how close the Carters are as a family and maybe wanting to cause trouble for them.

So much exciting stuff to look forward to with Johnny and the rest of the Carters!

I read Danny-Boy's tweet, he also wrote that he loves Lady Di, lol. I think they all have met Danny-Boy, Maddie & Sam included. The tweet from him yesterday was probably a break from filming. "By the end of march" just seems so far away at the moment

The future for the Carters sounds exciting. I've been loving them so far, and they've only been in the show for about 2 months...

For Johnny I would love to see a friend from uni come to Albert Square and study with him, lol.

I love that Daran clearly has a bit of a soft spot for Johnny. He usually does a little tweet mentioning him whenever one of Daran's episodes air. It helps that he's the best writer that EE have by a mile, so it's good that there's someone like that looking out for Johnny's character. I love the way he writes him.

Danny-Boy (still can't get over that name! ) and Sam have definitely met, as Sam tweeted about it last week (I think it was last week, maybe the week before.) I guess they might have filmed some initial scenes, thinking about it, as I doubt they'd get Lady Di in if they're not filming.

End of March does seem a long way away but at least February is a short month. March is going to seem very long, though.

I'd also love to see Johnny doing a bit more uni-related stuff. It's so nice to get little references to it here and there. Simple things like that make me happy!

Thoughts on tonight's episode? I have to admit, I'm relieved Johnny didn't have sex with Danny. I know some people on here wanted it but I just don't think it would have suited his personality to do something like that.

I liked the fact that Nancy and Johnny broke it to Lucy together, and the scene in the park was quite good. I wonder if Lucy and Johnny will become friends once Danny is out of the picture? I'm not that fussed about her character, so I don't really care, but they interacted quite well IMO.

The only thing I'm a bit disappointed about is that Danny and Johnny didn't have any scenes alone. I'd have quite liked to see Johnny telling him to get lost. But it just really seems they're rushing Danny's exit through now.

On a shallow note, Johnny looked especially cute tonight, especially that scene in the beginning in the café. No wonder Danny couldn't keep his eyes off him.

I'm relieved too that Johnny didn't kiss or even sleep with Danny. He deserves so much better. It's so good to see Nancy right beside Johnny, and her expression when he told her who WW was- heck his expression too was very good

I honestly don't care for Lucy, but I was happy to see Johnny showing her who Danny really is.
